Glanced at the site, Scorpion. Its sad, really. A comment on the subject of defending the NWT translation...Obviously they forgot to consider whether those who were responsible for the NWT were qualified to do so...meaning possessing credentials as experts in the language. The NWT Committee were not and did not. Quite frankly I wouldn't have faith in anything translated by someone who isn't educated well enough in the language of the material from which he is interpreting! If you can't trust the translation, don't read it let alone make decisions in your life based upon it. Stupid. What a good way to get spiritually screwed up!

Thanks for reading. Although this poem has been published*, I don't really consider myself a poet. I was going through a difficult time (self pity I guess you could say) about losing my one and only love through stupidity (he married someone else). Feelings had cropped up again because I discovered I had moved into an apartment that was just down the street from his house. I truly didn't know it at the time I moved in. I no longer live there.

hi friends;.
just wondering about this subject of holidays again.
i really miss christmas but don't have enough nerve to celebrate it.
This is my first Christmas in 11 years and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm going to sing my lungs out! I wanna attend Christmas Midnight services at a (OMG...should I say it?) church, cook, bake, visit friends, shop, wrap gifts, send cards, sing, decorate, and wish everyone the biggest, loudest most loving "MERRY CHRISTMAS". ((((HUG)))) On a more serious note, I'll be praying for the Peace of God to be felt over the world during these very difficult times. I'll be praying for the families of the victims because it will be so hard for them.
Thanksgiving? I'll be thanking God for opening the door for me and showing me a way out of the WTS and to friends like you. ((((HUG))))

Intro: Mona is so cute. I have a black cat also but with green eyes ("Bingo"). No pic. I don't know how to get pics to the computer yet. Haven't progressed that far. Bingo is 16 yrs old and just weighed in at 16 lbs (down from 21-1/2 two yrs ago so he's now getting old real fast). He may not be around much longer so I spoil him to death.
