Cute. Cmon, Hippikon. I realize this is "fluff" but can't you elaborate? I realize it's probably a "So what's it to you?" question but I was just curious if ex-JW's (especially ones that grew up in the Borg) have found out since they left. Also, I wonder if there are any AB Negative's on the board.

i posted a hi over in personal experiences, but thought i'd elaborate here..... i was raised a jw in delaware, ohio.
you know, i was that girl all the old ones in the cong liked because i was kind to them and pioneered.

After 57 years, I finally found out today what my blood type is: O NEGATIVE . My Dr. hollered over to the nurse who was on the phone with me, "TELL HER TO GIVE BLOOD ! IT'S RARE". 6% of Americans have this type. The Red Cross loves it. O Negative is the only blood type that can be accepted by everyone.....called "universal donor". The "universal recipient" is AB Positive....they can receive any type of blood. I probably can't donate though. I had Mono (26 years ago. LOL) and I guess I have low iron. My blood bubble doesn't sink (whatever).
SO NOW THAT WE ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE WATCHTOWER'S RIDICULOUS THUMB , WHAT'S YOUR BLOOD TYPE ?

Fireworks are great. Just got done watching the Boston Pops by the River spectacle with the Mormon Taberncale Choir on TV. It was just absolutely beautiful. I would love to attend that fireworks celebration in person sometime but a hotel probably cost plenty of $$$$ during this holiday. Boston is well known for their 4th of July celebration. Unfortunately, my little city can't afford a very big display but it's nice for the kiddies.
I really enjoyed my first 4th two years ago after being a JW for 11 years. Felt like a kid again and very, very proud of my country. I'm so grateful for the wonderful freedoms we enjoy .

Better as in a pleasure to listen or dance to.......Yes, it was better years ago (any year) up until Rap came out. Sorry Rappers but I see nothing worthwhile in that kind of music. I'm with Mulan....hate it, hate it, hate it.

Country Woman: Wish I could. It took me 55 years to get my first house. I can barely afford this one. If I really want to get after it though, I will pursue meeting with the Association first. If that doesn't work, I'll go to a shrink. There's a law that can override the Associate pet rule if evaluation by a physician recommends the benefit of pet ownership for someone depressed. I can do that. I can get depressed .....temporarily.

Plmkrzy: Thank you. No, I did'nt. Since that time, my Homeowner's Association passed a rule of "No pets allowed". They alway had it but people ignored it; now they are enforcing it. All current pets have to have a HUGH yellow tag and be registered with the Ass--ociation. No new registrations are permitted. !@#$%^ I could probably do it though if I got an attorney involved claiming "depression". What a hassle.

Mouthy: I didn't know July 1 was Canada's birthday. Gee. Too bad I'm not Canadian. I would have had great birthday parties and been able to get cheap drugs...er....prescriptions, too since the U.S. can't seem to get it together on that subject.
