this summer there will be an interview on how easy Family Worship is. We just watch a new video and discuss it as a family. And every day we sit in on morning worship and feel so connected to the organization. We are really feeling Jeehobers direction of the Goberning Boody. Etc etc
They seem more like a mainstream Christian religion more and more.

Probably not a fair comparison. I agree they are trying to appear fresh and new to the rank and file but this is just a website that plays videos. It's not broadcast Telivision or a cable channel.

It's not so much what was written but what was done with what was written that has caused billions of lives to be affected.

i really like the example you provided with Ian Flemming. I'm sure there were many other writings of the period that were not preserved because they did not harmonize with there particular theology or motives.
Same thing happened with the New Testament when deciding what books to cannonize and which ones to leave out.

exactly what hat I see as well. It helped them maintain there worldview. Even the so allied judgements were to take them back to their roots and core beliefs.

and it seems that "inspired" scripture was not specific enough because as many interpretations can be had by an equal amount of readers. But once their convinced it's hard to have a logical conversation.
