Haha dozy you do have some good stories. I bet I know the C.O. you mean as well, getting his car washed.
I also love that you're implying elders count ministry time for judicial committee work and DF'ing appeals!
i moved into this new cong for over two years now.
we have this younger couple that are part time co's.
i know that they would be busy serving a cong when they are asked to do so, but that is not too often.

If you get chance to attend one of the bigger Mardi Gras'es, I thoroughly recommend it.
this is the last boe we will be able to provide.
our informant or source, was caught, disfellowshipped, and thrown out of bethel.
we knew that sooner or later the watchtower would find him out.
I think they are upping their game a little bit in the I.T. department as here in the UK recently there were letters requesting if there were brothers with specific skills like SQL databases that would be interested in serving at bethel. Heavy stuff, if that's what they are looking for. Can't think of a worse hell though - being drafted in to sort out some unholy database mess at bethel.
hello folks - nice to be back after a three week holiday down under.
did i miss anything remotely interesting?
sad to see that atlantis' informant in bethel has been ratted out.
Hello folks - nice to be back after a three week holiday down under. Did I miss anything remotely interesting? Sad to see that Atlantis' informant in bethel has been ratted out. Quite shocking, especially if it was with secret surveillance. I'm sure we have laws against that sort of thing in the workplace here in the UK. I guess they're not technically "employees" though...
Anyway, at the Watchtower study today, the conductor (who does substitute CO work) mentioned that there is a new pioneer book. This came as no surprise to me with the pioneer schools now being shortened, they had to come up with a shorter book too. I don't suppose anyone has seen it in the wild or has a copy online? Probably the same rubbish as the old one I'm guessing, but thought it was worth mentioning.
following on from a recent post that asked for a list of the watchtower changers since you left, it would be intetesting to compile the list with why the changes were made.. .
Yeah that was it. CoC even had photocopies of one or two of their passports as I recall, or maybe that was on here.

Didn't Ray Franz mention in CoC about one of the "doctrine" changes around the Mexico/Malawi scandal time was made so GB members could hold passports and travel abroad? Something they had to sign I think it was?

Genuine talent there
**this was predicted from some members here**.
to all congregations .
re: adjustments in organizational terminology and assembly arrangements .
This makes for a great excuse to skip a day for those forced to attend 2-day circuit assemblys in 2014.
If anyone asks why you are attending only one of the days, just say: "If it's so important to attend two days, then why is it being reduced it to only one day in 2015?"
Or just don't attend at all of course.
Next prediction: two day district conventions, oops I mean "regional" conventions
not sure if this has been posted but the jwsurvey site received the videos in english from someone.. this crap is pathetic to watch.
how to counsel someone who is suicidal... really.

Haha the "worldly girl" just had to be called Lucy didn't she!
I can't believe he fell for the old "come see my aquarium" trick as well.
*** g76 7/22 p. 27 what worship does god approve?
"evidently to give credence to their belief, the samaritans changed a passage in the fifth book of moses to read gerizim instead of ebal.".
came across this quote last night.. i was slightly surprised to see an awake article admitting that "corruption" of bible texts started so early, even before the time of jesus.. i was wondering a couple of things:.
Interesting - thanks for the info.
