I don't post much here, and I came off a bit presumptuous. I don't know how your tutor would react. JW's are good hearted people, just mislead, nothing wrong with being their (unbaptized) friend.
You would find if you keep studying that the 7 men in NY are the "faithful and discreet slave", and that they are directing God's spirit directed organization. Note here how one member of the GB wants to control the information you get. "Stick with what we (the 7) have approved"

Hi,
You may not necessarily lose your friend if you stop studying, although he may become more distant. If you are not baptized, you won't necessarily be shunned. The people being "nice" at the hall is what is know as "love bombing".
If you tell the person you are studying with what you have discovered, he will label the material "apostate" saying they are lies from Satan. This is know as an "ad hominem" attack. It is type of "logical fallacy". Logical fallacies are used extensively by JW's. I suggest you learn the many types, and how they are used.
Bear in mind that JW's believe that 7 men in New York are directing the world's only true religion and there is no transparency in the organization and their leaders.

by umbertoecho inhello people.. i'm tired and a bit sick at the moment but i can't let anyone think that this is going to go away.... i am able to tell you a few things in order to prevent any confusion in the minds of those who are thinking that nothing will come of this arc;that nothing will effect the wtbts in america and other places.. i have been there and given my testimony.
helen milroy and her assistants were there along with another group of people who are there to lend assistance if you crack up at any time during or after the hearing.
i did not crack up but can see how this happens.. security is tight and anonymity is sacred to them as they want to protect all who come forward.

Yes, this in conjunction with the bending truth video is good, but I really was blow away by a recent program (no pun intended) about the brain. It's on PBS here in the US. Here is a link to watch one episode, things are very well articulated about 40 mins in.Really helps getting over "how could I be so stupid?"
