  stomach issues getting worse

  i have not been able to post for a while due to my health issues.

  i am in need of prayers because i am still having problems with diarrhea and very bad stomach cramps every single day that will not go away and my gastro doctor has taken me through stool tests and x-ray tests and cannot find out what is causing the diarrhea at all and i have been crying because the diarrhea is very bothersome.

  i also need some prayers because i really need to know someone that has gone through the rny gastric bypass surgery and has had their gall bladder removed because i have a lot of questions.

  Be careful of listening to those whosuggest juice and fruit diets. Fruits and juices are high in carbs and with the gastic bypass you are likely to get sicker. You must watch your carb in take. The dumping syndrome is bad for stomach issues even diahrreh can be a symptom of dumping. By the way I am 8 years out and I have not put the weight back on. I attended support meeting for the first year and many of us had stomach issues. Just be aware what you are eating and the amounts.

  Crisis of Conscience ...should we sell the book or keep it?

  we have a copy of this book and are wondering if we should sell it...is it worth anything?.

  amazon says it's worth 20 dollars.

  will it ever get to be worth more if we keep hold of it?.

  I think it would be a good idea to keep. I had opportunity to mention book and explain Ray Franz writing as not being what we were taught to a close family member lasr night.

  What do you mean?! I ALWAYS go to the beach after service and wear long pants and button up shirts while I play a game in the sand with my family! Sometimes I wear button up long sleeve shirts too!

  the wts likes to imply how jws should dress in and outside of the hall.

  you always want to set an example.. so i couldn't help but share this beauty in the january 15th, 2013, study edition of the watchtower.

  i showed this pictuere to my two teenage grandaughters their eyes got big and asked if this is how their mother dressed for the Beach when she was a JW. She laughed and said not quite. SHe and her friends dressed like normal teens and that I always encouraged her and her brother to have some fun.

  no one will take my intent to da or df seriously.

  they called me again (three brothers this time) and asked me to meet with them.

  i had no intention of doing so....simply told them there was nothing to talk about.. .

  Remember that now days they have to have a reason to associate and they just used you to have a little social gathering. Why else wouldn't you have not been invited. Take care it hard to let go at first but it does get easier. Remember my son pioneered up until his JC meeting and now he is free to persue a life. He has been in a relationship with his partner for near 17 years. Love is just down the road just keep your eyes on the Prize outside of this controling Organizaton. GMA-TIRED2

  I had this surgery. Yes i still have stomach problems and it usually something you are eating. For me it is too many carbs in something or dairy. Sometimes it only takes 1bite too many. Searching different web sites helps me find I am not the only one or you the only one. I am 8 years out but sometimes it just hits hard. Be careful what you eat and stop eating before yourbrain says too. Hope this helps a little. GMA-TIRED2

  i slept horribly last night because of stress.

  it's been a while since i had insomnia, but the meetings are slowly causing that disorder to make a comeback.

  the " bible " study was one of the most messed up things that i have heard in a long time.

  Had the dfing talk with sister in law this week. I saw has unreasonable they are when it comes to shunnîng. I would have had more success talking to a rock.

  i have been lurking here for about a month or two.

  it is really awesome to read so many similar experiences.. for example, when i was still 'in' i wondered if i was the only one in the hall that really hated the meetings.

  Momentofsurrender, WELCOME I am a third generation who basically left JWs 2 decades ago. I have recently only another born-in can understand our strange backgrounds. I am married to a former JW and we only discovered our differnt thought process after 46 years of marriage. His mom became a strong JW when he was 12.
