I don't know if this is relevant or not, but a bethel source has mentioned that the organization is getting cleaned out. The sense was that something big was going on but I heard this from a third source so don't know how accurate. I may have more information in a few weeks. I asked the third party if they were going to be cleaning out Bethel but they didn't know.

Thanks, Blondie for putting the link. For some reason my computer won't do it automatically. I have an apple so that may be why or I'm just too challenged to figure it out. Thanks, Lady Lee for putting the link to Farkel's work. I always enjoy reading his stuff.

Finnish KM 2005 on search engines and apostates
by Dogpatch inthis was passed on to me:__________i found this on finnish forum, notice: this may be true or notjune 2005 km (finnish edition), page 7: "when searching information about jehovah's witnesses from internet, we recommend going straight to organization's official sites with address www.watchtower.org, www.jw-media.org or www.jehovantodistajat.fi instead of using different search programs, which gives results consisting mainly sites administred by apostates.
" (my translation from finnish)________ lol if true we have really hurt them.
next they will sell or give away their own browsers with all apostate links blocked out!randy

Randy stated that I confirmed that it was in the US KM, I didn't say that. I stated that the brother giving the part on the article in the KM about the internet mentioned the web address several times, saying that we need to directly use it instead of a search. I don't know if that came down from the society or just his own thoughts.

Dad (elder) called yesterday.
by Es inhi all.... i have not spoken nor seen my dad for about 3months now after he would not allow me to borrow cds for my up and coming wedding to a "worldy guy" because borrowing his cds means he would be supporting my mariage.
even tho the relationship between my mum and i is now strained as a result she still keeps in contact and suggested that we all meet at the shops one day for lunch so dad could see my son.
i agreed as i felt it would be nice for my son to see his pop again...but also was a little upset as dad hasnt gone out of his way to see my son.

Hi Es, I feel bad for what you are going through. I was in the same position with my dad but in reverse. He da'd himself and I wouldn't have anything to do with him, at first. Inwardly I knew it was wrong to shun him no matter what the organization said. He's in turmoil, trying to be loyal to Jehovah (i.e. the organization) and still show his love to you. Hopefully he will someday realize that the organization and Jehovah are 2 seperate entities. I did. In the meantime, keep showing him love. My dad never stopped showing me love, even though I didn't deserve it at the time. Hang in there.

you can read that thread for the non-specific generalities of my situation.. so far noone has said a word to me about it at the hall.

What movies make you think of the Borg?...
by Hecklerboy ini was watching a great sci-fi movie the other day (chronicles of riddick) and there was a phrase in the movie that jumped out at me.
a soldier was being promoted and he said the phrase "obedience without question, loyalty till underverse comes".
i thought "wow, just replace underverse with armageddon and that sound just like the witnesses".

Definitely, The Village. My first thought after seeing the end was how similar it was to the dubs.
