Well, I'm female but my husband actually left organization (mentally) before I did. But, I have 2 JW female friends, one left years ago and one is in the process. He has 1 male friend that he grew up with that left before we did so that makes 3 females, 2 males. Does that make sense?

Question for elder/ex-elders

how many times, was oral sex involved, anal sex, how many times, etc.
is it really necessary or are the elders just getting off asking about someone else's sex life?

Thank you for all of the replies. My friend has decided to let them know that she has been having a sexual relationship with someone and that she is not planning on stopping. That's all they get. She has also stated that the organization seems cultish sometimes.

What does it really matter? Sex is sex, immorality is immorality? Just curious! I have a JW friend that has been involved in having a sexual relationship with someone and wants to tell the elders about it (only because she does not want to be a hypocrite) but does not want to divulge all of the details.

hangover cures please
by highdose ini got no sleep at all last night... this was mostly because i was dancing on tabletops in nightclubs.
and also because i'd had way too much to drink, but mostly because i was having a great time!!
i got home around the time that everyone else was getting up.. it was soooo good!

Dealing with a 'molested child' in a Judicial matter.
by dissed ini'm trying to respect the privacy of this individual, so forgive me if i'm a little too vague in my descriptions.. this for me, was the most emotional and difficult judicial matter that i have ever experienced.
its been many years since this happened and i'm still troubled, and troubled for this individual.. a young sister had committed fornication and i was chosen to sit on the judicial committee.. the case didn't make sense at first.
she was a faithful example in the congregation and was very much liked by all.

That is so sad! But what's even sadder is that this whole thing is repeated over and over again. How many people get disfellowshipped each year because they are weak but not wicked. The whole disfellowshipping thing is wrong on so many levels.
As believing witnesses we were all guilty of perpetuating this obscene practice by going along with the shunning part of it. I think we all can look back and regret treating disfellowshipped ones badly because we were doing what we thought was right at the time.
Please don't beat yourself up too badly for this. I agree with the other poster, if you can track this girl down and apologize it would be good.

can you really ever fade with immediate family still in?
by oompa ini am beginning to think not....elders still want to call on me rather than befriend me in any way.....and with a "good" wife and son and parents in, it seems like i still have one foot in only because of the overlap with my other "free" self........it is hard to really feel free in this situation, and is still have desire to just run the fluck away.....which would mean pretty much giving up my family in nearly every respect.
some here really miss their family and wife, others so love the freedom they seem able to move on and start fresh....as you know, i dont seem to have the balls for that, and at this point in my life the price seems to high to fully start over........it is the "one in one out limbo dance"......oompa.

I've been fading for 10 years or more. Even living in a different area than family is hard because when they come to visit, they want to go to meetings. If you haven't been to the hall for a while you're found out when nobody in the hall knows who you are. Fortunately, my husband and kids do not believe the bs anymore so if the rest of the family disowns us, so be it. I'm tired of playing the game.

it is a superb achievement on many levels.
each viewing reveals something new and fresh.. i recall, as a good jw at the time, not seeing it when released as it was not certified as 'suitable' given the content for jws.
