  greetings to all jwn members and lurkers,.

  i would like to extend all a warm-hearted invitation for our upcoming memorial this march 26th 2013, we will be having the lord's supper at sundown in a jehovah's witness kingdom hall near you.as you can see in this invitation, jesus died for all and that includes abraham, tyndale, pastor russell and many others.

  maybe you can identify the remaining key people on the top left side of jesus.we will have a wonderful talk about how jesus gave his life for all humankind thus opening the doors for everlasting life.you can all go to our official website www.jw.org and find the nearest kh where you live, under the tab about us and then go to meetings.you and your family are all invited and it is free.

  To clarify: I meant doing something like getting up on the platform and quickly outling to the audience that they were stuck in a cult. Or announcing that you would be leaving the cult from the platform.

  so last night the wife is working, the kids are getting ready for bed and i'm watching futurama.

  doorbell rings.

  now it's dark, snowing and i live on a back road, so it's very odd to have a visitor.

  You're right Mr. Falcon, my 'worldly' friends, relatives etc CALL BEFORE they come, or at least knock when they are at the gate. JWs tend to just barge right in.

  How long did it take you to prepare for talks or parts in the KM school?

  several years ago, whenever i got a talk slip i would get really nervous but accept it and work on it almost immediately.

  of course that was way back when i still believed it all.. now they gave me a #3 talk out of the blue about a month ago and i had forgotten all about it till the meeting night.

  i really thought about not showing up at all but at the last minute, i decided to go.. so when i got there the meeting had already started and so i just stayed in the back looked at the info, found 2 scriptures and then without any notes i went up and gave the stupid talk!.

  It's always been a day or two before. Most times it's just a matter of copying and pasting tripe from the CD, fitting it together, and finding the right tone of voice to read each segment of crap in. Funnily my shyness basically disappeared after learning TTATT, and now I'm almost at the point of laughter when I have to read some hideous indoctrinating material to the audience, knowing they will gobble it up like a large piece of chocolate. The act has been working so well that I've been given convention parts. When the time is right I would love to 'come out' about TTATT on a convention platform.

  i hadn't been on the board to visit much last year, so i have been going back and poking around through the older threads since i started to post here.

  i was on jwfacts.com, and noticed paul had posted a brief article about the jw video and the evil sparlock the warrior wizard.

  we have no children, and i never got those videos anyway (even when i was still an elder), so when i went back and read all of the old threads, i was crying laughing.
