Have any elders or ministerial servants here recieved any specific instructions regarding the annual meeting? As an MS all I have been told to do is to arrive early to "await further instruction due to the sensitive nature of my assignment". Ironically all I can imagine after hearing that a few times is dispensing cyanide laced Kool Aid to attendees. I bet all this psuedo-secrecy is just to hype a new bible and, or the call for MORE MONEY!!!

Individual Governing Body Members and Lawsuits

for instance are there any laws in the usa that would open the way for geoffrey jackson to be targetted by the lawsuits from child abuse or no blood transfusion deaths?.

when a female publisher conducts a regular ,scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.(1cor.
11:3-10)the july 15, 2002 issue of the watchtower, page 27, explains: this is a pre arranged session of teaching where the one conducting the study actually presides.

Can the Demons infect a computer?
by Comatose inno self respecting jw would doubt the demons ability to attach themselves to physical objects.
for example if a jw put a poster on their wall of a pentagram or some other "satanic symbol" that's a "doorway" for the demunz.
it's inviting them into your home.

It's simply a matter of having almost 8 million robots walking around foisting the mazagines to anything that moves. If the Cosmopolitan for instance had half the number of JWs actively peddaling it, it would outsell the Awake and Watchtower combined. After all it is about SEX, not pseudoscience and promises that the world will get 'better' after most of the earth's population gets slaughtered by an invisible being.

All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not. The elders must stand ready to help any who may now be wavering in their faith."
I literally got chills down my spine when I became aware of that sentence in the November 2013 study edition of the Watchtower. I couldn't help but think of the whole Jim Jones fiasco. As to exactly what they have in store, only time will tell, but I'm going to go out on a limb and speculate that the Watchtower is going to make a major push for more physical control of followers in the near future.
Scenario 1: Sending out a letter stating that the end is so near that JWs need to physically isolate themselves from the world at once. Stop attending school, work, stop associating with any who are not Witnesses unless absolutely necessary.
Scenario 2: Decreeing that Witnesses physically isolate themselves from the 'world' by gathering and living in Kingdom Halls, Assembly Halls etc.
Scenario 3: Wearing a special card to publicly identify oneself as a Witness 24/7, the way they usually do only for conventions.
Who knows, maybe all 3 combined.

Timing of the "new light" study and the upcoming annual meeting
by stuckinamovement ini find it interesting that the 7/15 watchtower will be studied from september 2-29th and then the annual meeting will be exactly one week after.

it strikes me as an effort to emphasize the fds and their role before a big announcement.. siam .
