Why would they need to go out and manually collect that data?
Can't they just pray to Jehovah and let him guide them since it's his 'spirit directed organization'?
Damn dirty rotten cult!!!
we have a bethel speaker on the english side.
they're pretty regular up here since it's only three and a half hours drive from nyc.. but this is a special kind of visit.. it turns out he's involved in doing a special research project and the christian congregation of jw's wants to know us better.. in order for the broadcasting to address issues more meaningful for families, they want to know the demographic make up of the congregations.. he spoke with the secretary about young single publishers and couples 20-35 y.o.
how are they employed.

in an effort to reduce the number of posts, this year i will try to add links to this post.
now, on with the leaks & releases!
first up.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nzvwhflss4.
This is FUNNY!!!!!!
In real life, the only scriptures that could help them at 2:28 in the video are:
The entire chapter of Colt 45, and Colt 19:11 are particularly uplifting when enemies draw close to you during a societal collapse.
Heckler & Koch 33 is a chapter that would also help them to quickly dispatch enemies coming to rape their women and steal their resources.
Kalashnikov 47 has been known to drive fear and terror into the hearts of infidels all over the world.
Smith & Wesson 38 packs a punch that stops any demon in it's tracks.
The 50th chapter of the book of Browning is a scripture that would also help them to trim down hoards of looters bearing down on upon the premises and safeguard their lives to serve Jehovah another day!
right now two jws in my family are watching a documentary about scientology and laughing at the 'crazy things that people believe'.
isn't it ironic?
on the other hand i've never seen them watch something like this before.. i'm making sure to laugh loudly at things that parallel jw beliefs and behaviours in order to bring attention to them.. i hope they are curious enough to watch a similar expose on jws should it air on network tv.. yeah right, wishful thinking..

anyone fall into this category?
It's like being eaten by a single fire ant, one bite at a time.
Sometimes I just want to rip my own arm off and smack speakers off the podium for spouting all those illogical lies in smug confidence.
The most depressing part is sitting there watching the rest of my family completely aloof, as compliant as fully sedated sheep actually believing that all of it is real and that they will have everlasting life one day. Knowing that all of us will be dead one day, but that they could probably go to the grave believing all that crap, and wasting their lives working towards 'qualifying' for PROMISES that will never come true!!!
this is just meant to be a fun topic.. what are some tv and movie snippets that summarize the conformity and extremism of watchtower life in general?.
i found this trailer for the giver to be dead on :-).
it shows what happens when you start to openly question the organization and its policies.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etspwr5deek&feature=youtu.be.

last november the mormon cult has issued new rules about homosexuality labelling those in same-sex relationships as apostates who can be excommunicated.
children of gay couples are now required to leave home and repudiate their parent's relationship before they can be part of the church.. at least 32 gay mormon youths have killed themselves since the announcement of the new policy, and there’s been an alarming increase of suicidal teens and twenty-somethings in the church.....
Soon a time will come when the pressure finally reaches a point where JW.org can no longer spin negative media reports about matters like this, and outright continue to tell people not to believe what they see in the media without seeming like complete kooks.
The only option they will have at that time is to say that matters such as being tolerant of gays is part of the attack by Gog of Magog (a coalition of unnamed nations according to them currently). That will force them into a corner, and they will have to say that the end is DEFINITELY around the corner. JWs will get their hopes up, wait for 5, 10, 15 years...NOTHING. It will be 1975 all over again, this time with global media coverage and the internet to document it forever.
