Has anyone ever been asked by an elder if your putting donations in the boxes

i was in the truth for two years and an elder approached me and said i couldn't get anymore literature until he spoke to me about something so six weeks went by and then i confronted him aa to when that meeting would be for i had a study that was waiting for her bt book.

he said he wasn't finished gathering his information but that it would be soon so i waited.

and i waited.

I have an Idea why he asked. I read on here the other day that 146,000 people visited this site last month. Let's call it 150,000 for easy math. What if everyone ordered as much literature as he or she could get the WBTS to give to them. Lets say we could get the equivalent of 100 books ordered for each of the 150,000 that visit this site. If the books cost 5 dollars (no idea what it cost just googled book cost to produce publisher and subtraction for free labor) each to print it would cost the WTBS about 75,000,000 dollars. I had to check the math twice on that. I Could get at least 100 "worldly" people to do the same. Adding that multiplier it would cost 7.5 billion dollars. What to do with all the literature? Well I have a fire place. I could heat my house during the winter at the WTBS expense. We all said we contributed in the contribution box anonymously already and did not ever donate money. What's beautiful about this Idea is that it is 100 percent legal. They say "donation only" in the literature. If some one gives an individual something, he or she can do what ever they want with it. I would love to catch a BOE letter saying you had to contribute to get literature. I would forward that straight to The California Revenue Service. They tax that kind of thing and they need money right now.

How about this Idea? All 150,000 people file abuse suit claims against the WTBS individually. It would cost about 500 dollars to file. It is legal to ask for a judge to look at an individuals claim. Does any of these 150,000 have a right to claim abuse. In my eyes absolutely. Will a judge side with the WTBS or the individual? WTBS every time. So whats the point? It would cost 100s of millions to defend. People file lawsuits everyday with the knowledge they will not win. I have done it myself. Sometimes it is nice to be a pain in the A$. They could forget about poor Candice for a little while anyway.

The moon tonight.

i was in my yard tonight with telescope watching jupiter.

jupiter is as close to the moon as it will be in the next 13 years.

to my surprise, the moon had a corona which is pretty rare for where i am standing.

I was in my yard tonight with telescope watching Jupiter. Jupiter is as close to the moon as it will be in the next 13 years. To my surprise, the moon had a corona which is pretty rare for where I am standing. I put my camera on a tripod and slowed the aperture way down and took a picture like this one. Imagine what early man in the wilderness would have thought at this sight. We look at early developmental religions sometimes and ridicule because of the simplicities and mythologies applied to explainable natural occurrences. I know the ring is there because of randomly placed hexagonal shaped ice crystals in the upper atmosphere refracting moon light at an optimal angle of about 21.84 degrees, but imagine looking into the sky and watching your god Jupiter getting closer and closer to the moon over several weeks and then all of a sudden the moon is surrounded by a ring. It must have been an awesome sight. It would be easy to think something different was about to happen. Anyway, my family and I was under the stars on a cool night talking and cuddling for warmth. I hope my children remember nights like this. I know I will.

James, all cars have frames. The term unibody means the car's body serves as some frame work of the car and not a typical boxed or tube frame running the full length of the car. However, in all cars some tube or boxed framing is used. The 911 has 4 subframes assemblies made of tubed and boxed metals. One could probably count the torsion bar assembly as another. On a positive note, I got to use the word "assembly" in the fun, non-JW use of the word.

Satanus: The idea of creating a thin client computer control model for older cars was thought up by my Indian friend and while we were in college. Think about how far your cell phone has come in the past 20 years. The progress your desk top has made. I am completely amazed at the computer control system in my Prius. So here's the dilemma. A person drives a 25 year old classic car and he or she is driving around with some very antiquated technology. With a very solid built thin client and wiring harness, we can bring all the new of modern cars into a small device that is incorporated into the computer control system for the car (Heart). Its easy to buy new tires, piston, cranks, and other parts for your car. We want to be able to convert an old car into a new one and make it cost under 200 dollars. Especially with a cell network access, you are taking your classic into the future. We could even access your home WiFi when the car was parked at your house. Run diagnoses everyday and update the software to continue the modernization of your classic to insure reliability, performance, and environmental impact, for a small monthly fee.

We are also looking at another unit for fleet cars and basing it off of the HUMS system used in aircraft. Again basing the tech off of a small modern computing system. Mainly for large trucks. We could incorporate legal logbook requirements, engine monitoring, fuel consumption, speed control, and other issues that commercial trucking companies have to deal with in a small integrated control unit mounted in the cab. It could be seen as spying, but how nice would it be to say in court, "No, we were not speeding and we were within our legal SOP as a commercial carrier at the time of the accident and here is the undeniable truth" Now trucks are limited to top speeds by thier computer for every geographical situtation. This system will force the driver to do the speed limit for what ever road the truck is on, the time of day, and condition of the road. Who knows with the proper push we could make this technology required on all new commercial trucks"

What is your daily commute, and how long does it take you

mine is 25 miles each way.

it can take anywhere from a half hour to an hour and a half each way depending on traffic.

there is no way way to get here by public transportation.. sigh~ .

6 feet to 6000 miles. It depends on the day. I can say I've been to some interesting spots. I sometimes go after jobs just because of where they are. Jgnat: I love remote areas, but my wife's minimum town size is limited to having a Target.

I'm pretty laid back, and so is she. I think this could be the old car she hangs on to a long time. Something she made with her own hands. Something she will remember when I'm gone. The car would be part her and it would be part me. She could use it as Something to teach the kids one day how to drive a stick, and talk about me when I'm gone.

(Somewhat daddy is an electrical engineer the car will be wired) I also liked the porsche because of the limited room in the back seats. Ive been in a few of those on late nights. This will be frame off reconstruction to include powdered coating on suspension pieces and frame and body coated with protective polymers to ensure a long time of driving. I am even thinking about building my own custom fuel injection system based of off a thin client with wireless tracking, fuel mixing, and top velocities for the device. It will have the ability to show me what road she is on and how fast she drove on it. It will also measure gs in gos, stops, and turns. I have an Indian friend writing the code for it now. It will also be able to detect problems and send me a msg to my phone for g level. post gs, temp, and oil pressures, So, I can tell her to turn the car off. I could even do it in an emergency. In a car jacking I could turn the car off myself with no help from agencies. I think this would be a perfect first driver for a teenage girl. I also think the next seven years will give us lots of time getting to know each other in a stress free environment. She has already talked about becoming a mechanical engineer. How big of a lead would she have by already have been doing it for the past few years. It would look good on a job resume to for a job at porsche. She is smart and beautiful. Girls like that get jobs quick in places like that. Has anyone else done a complete project like that with their kids? I'm hoping this will be fun. She sits in the car now and pretends to drive.

I agree. I was on an ambein haze again when I wrote this last night. I will try to find the time to rewrite this in a more GB style, print it, place it in a windowed envelope, and mail it to all of my old JW contacts. At least, it would get them to read questions the WBTS can't answer before they figure out it is fake. It may plant a seed.

Dear Brothers due to our failed attempts of interrupting scripture and completely false, multiple prophecies, we as the Governing Body are going to implement a few new changes to God's Earthly Organization.

We are not God's Earthly Organization. We were started to be an independent bible study group that got out of hand.
We are rearranging the governing schematics to the following. Everyone is equal. Everyman woman and child will be treated with love and respect.
We have already dismissed ourselves for the pressures of being God's chosen ones because we never were in the first place. So, our members are allowed to read and interpret his or her bible on that individuals abilities and level of commitment.
No one will be required to go in public ministry anymore. We have learned this has been a total failure and is not working. Everyone is encouraged to volunteer for charities, spend time with their families, and lead productive lives as Christ would want us to. Also, we expect a 25 percent increase in publishers annually because we will live lives similarly to what Jesus taught and will not be seen as complete self-serving mongers any more.
We will stop trying to run lives of other individuals with pharisaic unbiblical based commandments that we 12 and the BOE have created in the last 70 years.
Celebrate what ever it is you want. God wants happy people who follow him because they want to.
Please for the love of Jehovah go out and get a blood transfusion even if you don't need one. It is silly of us to try to push an antiquated agenda because one person said we wouldn't do this for generations. Why we never consulted with the AMA or another reputable physicians group in the past is a question no of us can answer. Hell most of us didn't graduate high school we should stop pretending that we know answers when it comes to medical problems.
We currently have vast resources that will need to be taken care of. We are going to use our moneys and properties to help the people we should such as orphans, widows, and ones that need our help.
We will no longer provide a clergy class that rules people with no representation of rights or conscious. Please let your children take dance, play football, play basket ball, watch movies that make you think, and generally have fun. Its the reason god made us.
The Kingdom Halls will be used as gathering centers for bible students to sit, speak, and ask questions about the bible and receive the answers from the text God has given to us. We will accept all religions and denominations with their faults and lies just as we have had our own. We will encourage our members to become active in the communities and other local churches just as we have for years taken advantage of the political system to suit our own needs.
We will never again remove someone from this loving organization for committing simple sin. Here's a news flash. We know you all fooled around to some extent before your were married.
We know that some scriptures indicate some individuals would not inherent the kingdom based on his and hers acts. We also realize that we all have done and do these things and the only reason any of us have a chance to make it to Gods Kingdom is the sacrifice of his son Christ Jesus. Not a regimen we invented and put in place to forcibly control the people of God to our standards and not His.
No one will ever be removed from the congregation. If someone conducts an act you do not agree with you have the freedom to keep your distance from him. We will never order the separation of families again. For this and other grievous wrong doings we are blood guilty and shall not be allowed to further our work with the WBTS and will hand the control back over to the congregations were the flock will heard themselves with the hand of God.
