Well, I found myself in need of some extra cash and was damned if I was going to some fucking sandwich shop, or slinging overpriced coffee. I mean I’ve got a degree in English lit, with a concentration in creative writing, so I should be able to use the skills that I developed at the overpriced Ivy League University that I secretly attended. The previous sentence is an abortion of grammar.(Shh, don’t tell anyone) Right? Here’s the thing, I get bored very easy, so a job blogging, or aggregating the news, or doing some kind of journalistic writing wasn’t really for either. Quit (okay you need to stop this dilemma. It’s quite) a dilemma. Anyway, long story short, I started dabbling in erotica, to blow off steam, and got pretty good at it, so one day I trolled Craigslist and came across the ad; Can you write porn? I’m like, maybe. Another abortion you realize I have no means to properly correct this sentence so from here forth I shall underline in red all abortions. So, I sent in a few samples of my past writing and a week later I got an e-mail saying that my erotic writing was exceptional. I find it hard to believe anyone would reference your writing as “exceptional” Never in a million years did I think I’d get a complement on my creatively using the words, fuck, suck, cunt, cock and pussy. So, I was like,”Hell yeah”! I signed a contract,and was told that I’d get .01 a word up to 5k words. Ok, so that’s zero(why the thirty) to fifty bucks a day. Cool, so how to start creatively writing sex?

I did not graduate from an Ivy League School. I did want to go to one. Alas, I was not accepted. I did attend three major universities, and worked at two. I can say with no uncertainty, "You did not attend an Ivy League School." You are not a student of English Literature. If you are, you need to work hard and practice more. I literally could not finish reading another paragraph your first one was so horrible. Everyone else reading this can see through your falsities too. As you can see from the red, your paragraph looks like a murder scene.

Why am I being mean? Simple, I want to help you. If you wish to be a porn writer, I think that is great. You need to go to the library and check out a grammar text book. Writers can spell and use grammar. You're the only person who can accomplish your goals. I think you need to ask yourself the question, "Why am I lying to total strangers on an internet forum page?" I hope you are not going through a hard time. If you are, I hope you can look to someone to help you through whatever it is you are going through. Here's some free advice. It takes about 20,000 hours to master a skill. If you want to be a writer start learning to write, and write every moment you have available. I hope you keep trying to write. So if you're a lurker and decided not to get a pet because some old men in Brooklyn "told you so" this is what you are missing.

I have been into winged shooting for many years. It may seem barbaric to you, but it helps to balance my soul. I had been hunting on private "pay to use" places for years, when I decided to buy a place and manage it the way I wanted to. It would be nice because I could use it when ever I want. When I got my place and got it up off the ground, I grew tired of losing birds or having to wade through sloughs and ponds to retrieve them. So the obvious answer was to purchase a bird dog.

I did 6 months worth of research before I found the breeder and trainer, I would finally chose. This is a top notch facility. He will not just sell to anyone. You must first finish a training program before he will sell you a dog. That's right the dog trainer wants to train the human before he will give you a dog. (I know what you're thinking just get a rescue dog and all that. We already have one of those and he is my wife's dog.) After several trips to finish my human training part of the equation, I was getting impatient. I was making trips and spending time here and we hadn't even talked about which dog would be mine. So basically I would spend a whole day working with his dogs and other peoples dogs to get me trained. What I didn't know was the trainer was also evaluating which dog I had the best chemistry with. There was this one dog ,who during our breaks, would come around and hang out with me, His name was Rocket.

Rocket would seek me out and I would seek him out during the breaks to play. I thought Rocket was another customers dog. Then one day, I asked the trainer when would I get to decide which dog is mine. He said in his thick southern drawl with his Yoda like mastery of his craft, "Well son, I think ole Rocket has chosen you. I don't think you have a choice in this anymore." I was super stoked because he was the dog I wanted and now he would be mine.

Rocket is a Black Lab. He got is name because when he is released on a retrieve, he launches at his target like a meat missile. He's fast, focused and fun to work. Some dogs like to retrieve and hunt. Some dogs do it because they have been forced to do it. Not Rocket. He loves it. You have never seen joy like this dog getting up to go hunting. Everyday It is Christmas morning. When he sees the shotgun his tail wags so hard, his hind paws slide back and forth across the tile in our house.

Our day starts with him making long growling, yawning ooooooos. He sleeps in a bed on the floor on my side of the room. The next thing I here is the smack smack of him flapping his jaws for the first time of the day. I then brace for it because I know its coming. Bam!!! wet nose to the face. "Okay I am up." We meander to the kitchen for breakfast rituals. Next, we run. We love this time together. The fresh new day just the two of us out for a jog. It is like we were designed to run together. It helps to clear our heads. Then I get ready and we are off to work.

Yes, Rocket goes to work with me. My assistant's office is next to mine. She likes to make fun of us because I talk to Rocket all day. I ask him questions and we have complete conversations about work, family, and everything else. In between our conversations, Rocket's naps, and his trips to My Assistant's office for treats (Rocket knows he's not supposed to have and Madonna knows she's not supposed to dole out) we work our day away. Clients, employees, and visitors come and go, but Rocket is there.

I can't explain it. This little black dog and I are a team. We have a bond. My life is better because he is in it. My life would be really sad if I would have listened to old men in Brooklyn.

Tortured is the only thing I can come up with. I don't like the details of it. It makes me sick. I never had a choice to be a JW. I was forced to become one. I was regularly whipped, not beaten. I stress this when I talk to people about it. There is a huge difference between a beating and a whipping. I would take a beating any day of the week. I was tortured by a father who was in good standing by his multinational, multimillion dollar religious organization when I was a kid. I was then forced to become a member only to be tortured again for the rest of my life by being cut off from my family. I remember talking to an elder about it. I had to tread carefully as to not attract the wrath of my father. When I told him about it, he laughed and remarked,"boys can be a tough lot to straighten out".

Poor Children. Both of the children in the video have it tough. The girl with the two mom's has to live with being the "not normal" child, and the other child has to deal with being raised a Jehovah's Witness. Essentially, WTBS is encouraging a little girl to go to school and disrespect the beliefs of others constitutionally given rights. Can you imagine the damage that could be done to this sweet child with two momma's. Hey your mommas are going to roast like bbq on armageddon.

hi friends,it has been 20 years that i've slaved for the wt and through out the past couple of years i could feel myself fighting an urge to accept that something was not right.

i fought it off for so long only for it to resurface frequently throughout my years of pioneering, assembly/convention parts, & speaking with people about the "truth", slaving and giving to try to be a "spiritual person" but in reality i was not spiritual because spirituality (according to the org) is doing all of the things they want you to do.

which then will label you as spiritual... no !!!

Lets look at a few things first.

Your religious organization claims to be the only and true earthly voice of God correct? They use the parable of the Faithful and Discrete Slave to establish their control over your faith. They say God has put us here to be in charge. They tell you to read some scriptures from Mathew and say, "See we are those people. You know we are because we told you so." Do me a favor right now and read Luke 12:41. Luke clearly describes this story as a parable. The Greek language is a beautiful and precise language and defiantly has the ability to describe "prophecy" and "parable". Why is this important to you. Your religious leaders purposefully lie to you and tell you this parable is prophecy. They have for over 100 years. It is a bold lie told often enough to make people believe it. When people question it they lie more and with more force. It was simply a story used with the purpose of teaching a moral lesson. If you remove that one caveat from their teachings they hold no power over you. Read that verse 10, 20,100 times. Do not let your emotions try to sway you into thinking it says something else. You have been programmed to believe the opposite. This may cause pain for you, but it is one of many things that knock their little house over. It was just a damn story not prophecy.

The blood policy is the most deceitful and hateful thing in the history of the world. I will give you a brief background on the policy so you can digest it while you read the rest. Literally our former religious organization was founded by anti technology simpletons. I hate to say it so directly, but its the truth. Here are a few things the Watchtower Organization has written against either in the past or present. Giving literature black people, their minds were to underdeveloped to process the materials contained in the magazines. Aluminum, Vaccines, blood, organ transplant, the size of the female brain, and many other weird things that were not true. These things were written out of ignorance.

Let's look at what the bible says about the Jews use of blood. leviticus 17 starting at verse 10-14. The Watchtower will stop there every time when supporting their beliefs, because they do not want you reading verse 15. I am going to go out on a limb and assume you don't regularly kill stuff to eat. Don't worry this is where my expertise comes in handy. I have a bit of land and use it to hunt on. I bleed my kills after the hunt for the purpose of making the meat taste better. If an animal dies and is not bleed within minutes, the blood will clot and there is no way to ever bleed that animal. Imagine wringing glue out of a sponge. If you do it quickly you can get most of the glue out. If you leave it a few minutes to cure you will never get the glue out. Why is the provision here for an animal that died on it's own? The reason is if a sheep farmer found an animal that died the night before and was not bled the law makers knew the meat would go to waste because it could not be bled. So to save waste they wrote a provision to allow the Israelite or non native to eat the meat anyway, but they had to wash their clothes and bathe and not go to the temple for one day. That's it!!!!!!! Take a bath and skip a day of temple. How much more is a human life worth to save than meat on the ground. Literally, the law allowed this rule to be broken as to not waste meat, but the Watchtower will allow it's members to waste their lives and the lives of their loved ones in a miss application of scripture. Go ahead and read it and check it. Every time they use a scripture to justify the blood ban they purposefully leave out verse 15. Now, ask yourself the question,"Why not change the rule?" You just read it. It is there in black and white. The reason is they are afraid of the backlash. They would rather allow more people to die than to correct their mistake and apologize. Doesn't sound very Faithful or Discrete.

Also, I hope you feel better. Go for a walk, read a book, see a doctor, call a friend, or anything healthy that makes you feel better. I've been there and fought the pain. I can tell you it gets better.

Help to build a "Guide to Your New Faith"

i have seen many people ask the question, "if its not the truth what else is there?

" i imagine that most people want to remain in a christian faith so i want to build a matrix for one to use as a guide in finding a new church if he or she feels a need to worship.

i personally don't attend any church and i will keep my personal beliefs to myself.

I personally don't attend any church and I will keep my personal beliefs to myself. I would just hate to see people who are used to being abused by their faith hunt out and find another cult. I am calling this Matrix "Good Church, Bad Church". Here are my humble suggestions. Also, if you are atheist or agnostic please be respectful. You will only scare people who want to believe away. Some people just want to worship, while others don't.

If your church teaches the Widow's Mite as a tool to resource more money from you, you have found a Bad Church.

If your church encourages discourse and allows members to have contrary opinions, you have found a Good Church.

If your church teaches an unquestionable Hierarchy, you have found a Bad Church.

If your church is full of people who openly have problems and accepts others without question you found a Good Church. If you are with people whom are seemingly perfect with no problems what so ever they are probably riding unicorns and you should be careful of the mushrooms you consume.

If everyone there likes you be careful human beings don't like everyone. It's okay for some people to not like you and you not like them. The question arises do the people who don't like you treat you with human decency even though they don't like you.

If everyone looks and acts the same, you have found a Bad Church. This is systematic of the church having so much control everyone bends to the church's whim.

If your church controls information, you have found a Bad Church. If any claim is made that the people in power are given secret abilities, reasons, insights, or anything similar, you have been warned.

If your church has an attitude of "look at me, look at me!!", you have found a Bad Church.

If your church is quietly trying to make your community a better place by helping others in need this is a good sign. If all they talk about is the good they do, run away.

If they minister who works two days a week drives the most expensive car in the parking lot, you have probably found a Bad Church.

The Number one rule. Trust yourself. If you get a feeling in your gut "something isn't right", investigate that feeling. Don't wait and don't except excuses. If someones honest, they will always answer to criticism and appreciate it eventually.

There are literally millions of churches and faiths in this world. If you are drawn to worship, make sure you are looking out for people who wish to prey off of your prayers.

Has anybody watched Making A Murderer on Netflix ?

i watched this 10 part series the other day and i was appalled at the investigation conducted by the police , especially the way they conducted their investigation with brendan vassey , his interrogation and obvious manipulation by the police officers , i couldn`t believe he was convicted , and sentenced to a jail term.. to any intelligent person with any sense of compassion could see brendan vassey was intellectually disadvantaged , yet these police officers exploited that failing of this boy .he should never have been convicted , his case should have been thrown out of court , the fact that he has been in jail over 10 years is a gross miscarriage of justice .. the conviction of steven avery seemed to me to be a set up also from what was presented on netflix ,.

i am no fan of steven avery ,i think he is a bit of a hillbilly type , that has had no problem with cruelty to animals , which i abhor ,yet i do think he has been railroaded in this conviction ,while the real killer and rapist goes free .. what are your thoughts .

I watched it. I think it is time for judicial reform in this country. I would suggest a system that did not protect District Attorneys from retribution. If a DA brings a case forward with insignificant evidence, he or she should be found liable both criminally and civilly. In other words one had better be damn sure before charges are ever brought up. In my mind a 100 criminals should go free before 1 innocent man goes to jail.
