You know what I heard in that report? I heard what the reporter didn't want to say. I know that no one will say it. I will say it. These people speeding through or up to a military checkpoint during a war are prime canditates for The Darwin Awards. This reporter tries to make these people sound like such innocent victims instead of what they really were.............Stupid Victims.
Let me tell you a story from my Stupid Days. I was speeding one night in Mexico. In Mexico they have road blocks/checkpoints where the soldiers, with fingers on the triggers of their machine guns would ask you if you were carrying any guns. That night there was a line of trucks blocking my view and I didn't see the flares until I was right on them. There was no way I could stop in time. I blew right through. I fully expected the bullets to be flying. They didn't fire at me but that was not during a state of war. Let me tell you, I would never have been speeding like that in a time of war in which I was the enemy of the army at the checkpoint.

Ok People. I don't get it. I fail to see the humor in the april fools joke. It wasn't believable so it wasn't funny.
Offensive or Tasteless..........PUUUUULEEEEEEASE. Get a life people! A few people are dying and we're all supposed to be serious all the time? Throughout history serious points have been made through humor. Have you ever heard of political cartoonists? They make their living every day by bringing humor to serious subjects. You may say it's tasteless but that's a matter of taste now isn't it? I happen to like grits with my eggs in the morning and I don't think breakfast is complete without it but you don't see me telling the person next to me who ordered a foo foo omelet they are tasteless. Get my point. What Robdar said could be taken in a variety of ways and I see that no one asked for any clarification. No. Many just vommited out the words TASTELESS just because they weren't comfortable. Listen here folks. War is not comfortable. Not when you're having a serious debate with a bunch of no-it-alls. Not when you try to make people think with humor and certainly not when there are bullets and bombs coming at you. Your self-righteous indignation only shows YOUR inability to handle an uncomfortable subject with class.

often the man was 15-25 years older than the woman.

Good Idea.
How bout this one.......With the recent increase in the budget for the war on terrorism they have begun having agents infiltrate groups that they consider a threat. Militias, Hate groups and religions that are way out of the mainstream. Jehovah's witnesses have been the object of government scrutiny and persecution before so it shouldn't be any problem getting witnesses to believe that there could be a spy in the congregation. Every time someone makes a comment about how bad terrorists are there will be suspicion. When a new one comes in they will be wondering if this person is actually a government undercover agent.
I'm sure the great minds on here could refine the story.

It's funny that people say how compasionate and merciful God is and then they believe that He will punish someone forever for a few years of not worshiping him. No government in this wicked world will stoop to that. Well.........Hitler tried.
Also as far as what "worship" means.................. Look it up in the dictionary. If it meant fellowship then the translators should have used the word fellowship.

well, i was talking on the phone to my best friend and we started talking about aliens, spirits, etc.
and eventually we got around to discussing the ouija board.
since i was raised a jw and have only been out a year, the ouija board was of course forbidden and even a little scary.
Hey! What about reading the horoscope? will that invite demons into my home too? OMG I just read my Horrorscope just a few minutes ago. Please tell me the DEMONs aren't going to enter me in my sleep and possess my body. Somebody........Anybody.
