  Hey little toe, it'll probably sound racist but I'm fascinated to know what a clan of scots witnesses is like.

  i have an almost 18 year old cat, a manx calico named spunky.

  at birth, she was rejected by her mother and so my mom dropper fed this kitten until it was big enough to eat from a bowl, and then the cat moved in with us.

  my daughter was about 3. she's always been my cat.

  18 years is a good life for a cat.

  Most vets are very good. Our lovely tortoise shell cat had a long innings and putting her to sleep was a tearful but good experience. She went peacefully in the company of people she loved - when the time comes please take me to the vet

  Armageddon, Inc (1940) - The last critical article there was on JWs!

  "armageddon, inc" was an article published in the september 14, 1940 issue of the saturday evening post.. it was written by stanley high and was a critical review of the jehovah's witness religion as it was then.. this was 65 years ago, and i do not know of _any_ articles since then that have been published in a major magazine that attempt to analyze or examine the jehovah's witnesses!.

  there have been many articles published over the years about jws, particularly when conventions are being held in a town.

  the local papers will usually do stories about them.

  How can this be? No real articles about the JWs for 65 years! What is the reason for this lack of examination by the Press of a religion of which most everyone is aware?

  What a punchy article. It's as good an expose' of the WBTS as any we see here. Being kind I'd say that the modern media is more interested in predictable populous 'ear tickling™' than it is in good accurate in-depth journalism. Being unkind I'd go further and say that concern about money has overtaken the desire to fearlessly inform. Fear of being sued, fear of readership backlash, fear of the TV generations twenty second attention span all play a role in dumbing down our daily, weekly and monthly rags.

  I placed™ my first mags at 10 and gave my first talk™ at 11 (just happened to be my 11th birthday) I was quite a late strater compared to some of you

  OK, now I've said something sort of "on topic" I can play ...nyaaaahhaarrr..

  I ended up working with a brother.

  Let me guess .. you ran arround in a van plastering ceilings .. you carried his ladders and paint pots? ....um .. I know - you spent november and december selling pine trees door to door
