i think the two moms(if you can call them that) should get the worst possible punishment for leaving these kids home alone.

the oldest was only ten and that is way to young to be left alone to care for the other children.

one thing which kept me trapped as a jw far longer than necessary was the fear that if i left and no longer believed, my life would be empty of meaning and futile and ultimately end in a meaningless death.

i could not find any meaning in the world apart from the view jws had imposed upon me... all other ways seemed to lead only to meaninglessness.. but once out and even without a belief in any god[s] i still found my life meaningful but it took several years before i understood my new source of meaning and now see it as the only valid source... i will explain this after i see some of your ideas as i do not wish to bias your answers in advance.

jehovah's witnesses are taught that they will live "forever" on paradise earth.. let's say the year is 278,486 (assuming armageddon occurred in 2003).

the millenium has passed, everyone has been resurrected, and earth has become the true paradise the jws predicted.. only one problem: you've done everything there is to do.

you've gone every place on earth there is to go.

As to space travel, I was always told that it would be a probability. That after the earth was restored it would be for humans to populate other planets. But at the same time I was told that sex would just be done away with. Hell, some of us don't have to wait for any 'new system' to have that happen! Ah, the inconsistency of it all.
