Hi there, I was a regular pioneer and a MS, I resigned from the privileges last year. Saw a lot of favouritism, politics, plenty of evidence that many things happening in the congregation had not been decided by the holy spirit, but by influential men in the congregation. For a while I fooled myself with "the org is made of imperfect people" line, until I started doing research.

Because I spoke my mind and put a limit on how much nonsense I could put up with, I was gradually stripped of privileges and not even told, I would find out when I asked.

The new light on the Slave rang alarm bells and then I found out TTATT. It was then that I understood why some men viewed themselves as untouchable and powerful, in an org that revels in this attitude.

Whilst I'm keeping a very low profile I'm at a stage where I'm no longer afraid of mere men, the org, or of warning others about it.

i'm a new member & i'd like to say hi to everyone, intoducing myself.. i am a 3rd generation born-in at mid 50's & an active elder.. english is not my mother language, so pls ignore any grammatical errors.

i live in a small country in europe.. i'd like to thank you for all information posted.

some of them have rally helped me to understand and examine again my beliefs.. last new light concerning f&ds=gb has verified the idea that they are popes in the position op pope.. i still believe in god & in his son jesus christ but not in the gb..

i've read how many have been asked the question if they belive thae gb/f&d$ are jehovah's(tm) channel for communication.

this question to finally find out if they should be df or not (terms and conditions apply and are subject to favouritism or who your family are).. we all know too well that the gb arrogantly do claim to be god's channel in their pope like status.. however, when they are made to look like arses they suddenly become 'just imperfect men doing their best...where else will you go?'(r).

so when the elders come to hound individuals and ask the ultimate question of loyalty to the holy paedo ring known as the gb..... what answers have you heard given that was totally brilliant?.

It's funny how the word 'mediator' doesn't even appear in the Bible Teach book. I, for one, wasn't told that when I was baptized. I would like to have known. Also funny is how that is not even explained in the Memorial, the night every year when they talk about the New Covenant and they do not want you drinking from the wine and eating from the bread. Hmm

They are God's channel of communication on earth, and we must never doubt them even in our thoughts, because they are relaying Jehovah's thoughts. Except when the light gets brighter and what was once thought to be Jehovah's thought is actually shown to not have been.

Like when they said, I can't remember when, that the FDS was a class of all the anointed still alive on earth. It turns out that wasn't what Jehovah had actually said after all. Come on, we can't expect perfection from imperfect men. Right?

Hi there, I'm a newbie here too...fading publisher, former pioneer and ministerial servant.

Yes, I've had my issues with some elders over the course of years, and of course, you can't challenge them, criticize them (because you are speaking out against those whom the holy spirit has appointed), or for that matter challenge or criticize the Watchtower and its representative GB.

I'm so glad to find so many who have a problem with this 'new light' like myself. For a while I wondered if I was alone. Not anymore. I seriously hope that this giving themselves pope-like status will ring bells in the minds of conscientious witnesses and prompt them to do research. That's what happened to me and it was then that I found out TTATT, and Awoke! after reading The Watchtower. And how glad I was to find this forum!

And 'you shall know the Internet, and the Internet shall set you free'.
