The Day of Armageddon In our life time
by U.2.K. indo anybody else believe that the messiah will return in our life time?
cause we all know that "peace & safety" is the last sign.. and i already mention that it's on a very low scale, it's come but has'nt passed yet(when billions believe everything is safe)... .
i believe it will come in my life time, i'm only 20 years old and i damn sure aint going to die... luke- 21-36 < is the way that you can survive up to the day of christ day....what y'all think?

Some timeless facts not dependent on Armageddon.....
There were earthquakes and other cataclysmic events long before humans were known to walk the earth, and will be after they are extinct.
There have always been food shortages and will be as long as Jehovah keeps blessing the planet with an overabundance of human beings.
There will never be "Peace and Security" as long as humans beings cling to the absurd notion that some other force (exclusively their version of course) is going to come from heaven, fix the earth, smite the wicked (not their version) , and rewrite all the laws of nature.
Who needs Armageddon when we have all of that?

by larc inin xenia, ohio, the police have assigned a detective to go to teen chat rooms and pose as a 14 year old girl looking for a good time.
as a result, they have arrested about one man a month, over the past three years, who come to xenia to have sex with a girl.. you might want to pass this on to your local police department.
if all cities did this, it would cut down internet sex crimes.

Evolution is not the answer.
by sleepy inevolution is not the answer to most of the important questions about life and how it got here.. if current evolutionary ideas are true they only tell a very small part of the story.. simply how random changes to animate and inanimate things can be mechanicly selected by sutible enviroments and prosper in them.. there is still lots about us to explain.. what is the source of the matter in our universe, what caused the "big bang"?.
what is consciousness and how does it work?.
what causes the fundemental forces and how do they work?.

Yes, things were certainly written down, but that doesn't make them true by any means. Furthermore, I would much rather believe in facts than in faith any day. You ever notice why encyclopedias constantly change? Could it be because we as a planet, animals plants, humans, etc, keep changing? I think that's what they call evolution. I might add that evolution certainly does not rule out the concept of dog at all. One has only to refer to the work of Gregor Mendel. He was a
19th century monk interested in the hybridization of certain plants, for all you trolls.. He succeeded in altering the genetic makeup of many plants, which was his primary goal, yet the secular world has benifitted greatly from his scientific contributions. I doubt he ever expected to get his peas involved in the concept of evolution, but he did so while unwittingly giving us a message that we have the ability to alter our own destiny, and that of everything around us. He never questioned that there was a dog, but there is evidence that he saw the potential for things like plants to make noticeable changes, brought on not by the hand of Jehovah, but his own. Its ironic that all around things were changing like the development of scientific fact, an increase in man's overall intelligence and lifespan, acceptance of that scientific fact, and a migration away from outdated practices forced on the religious faithfull. This is still happening, yet all the while some de-evolve and persist that an antiquated book, and perverse interpretations of its text are more important than living in a modern world. BTW, if it were easy enough to merely catch Jehovah on tape, where has he been hiding all these years?Sincerely,

i am a new poster who is putting off their own personal story of finding this site for a while..... i find alot of people here utterly fascinating, and would like to know..... exactly what is everyones professional field of work?.
i would like to be a full time poster on this forum, but alas, the $$$$ are quite light in that field of work.. apologies if this has been asked before.. just curious.

*L* joy...you know my only full time job is looking after the spiritual welfare of the flock and with the likes of you and your publishers of ill repute I stay pretty busy! Oh, and I look after the beer as well, cook for various Apostatfest functions, entertain errant Apostates when necessary, behave badly and make as many crude comments as possible. joy also neglected to mention Angharad most probably keeps Simon around to do the grunt work...as it were.
Teacher at a community college, plus some network, and software migration work on the side. Consulting, insulting, whichever fits...
