  One simply has to understand the concept of learning from what one experiences. Say for instance you were handling snakes and one of them bit you, and you became violently ill. Would you deal with the same snake in the same way? Not if you are wise. You might also tell other people what happened to help them deal with the snake if they run into it. Experience with the WTBTS is the same. It hurt a lot of people and people may agree that they are better off not being Witnesses, but it is certainly NOT an indication that we all see or view the Witnesses and their religion in the same way. Exatly what ding dong is trying to do here and what he has been attempting for some time.

  But don't you worry that apostates rely on such images just as Jehovah's Witnesses?

  still at it are we? You clearly do not understand about learning from experience. Once again you try and group everyone who is no longer a wtiness together as if we all have the same perceptions or life experiences with the Jehovah's Witnesses.   Just had my first ever study with a JW

  i wanted to ask questions about the organisation, but he looked me in the eye & ignored my questions to pursue his agenda.. he listed about 15 topics for us to study, to prove only jws are based on 1st century christianity.

  i got him to agree not to attack other religions, (proving them false does not prove jws true) he agreed with this but then went on to criticise other religions!

  next week i'll be firmer on this point!.

  ie The good news about the Christ, and that He died for all sinners, so whoever believes in Him & repents is forgiven, and has eternal life.

  Anyway your statement here is probably the simplest way for Christians to live and also a question that can stop any dub in their tracks. if that is all that required then there is no proof that other Christian religions cannot help one achieve such a simple goal. So, if you are a good person, believe in jesus, go to church, pray, love your neighbor and do charitable works, who are the dubs to say you can't be saved at the Biblical Armageddon? They are the classic case of faith hijacking works big time. Have fun with them!

  Are Apostates Ruining "the Watchtower"?

  the witnesses had a coherent and comforting system before apostates came along and challenged many of "the watchtower's" core beliefs.

  over blood, the un and other issues the "watchtower" has responded to apostates by clarifying/changing positions.

  many firm believers have been led away from the faith by the active apostate community on the web.

  The Watchtower Society is an organization of apostates.

  If they would have left the KJV word in the passages they switched with Apostate it would have suited them much more as an organization..
