sir82,
You need to forget 99.99999..% of the Bible to discern these principles from Gen chapter 1
literal reading of genesis chapter one brings no benefit because you would see god as speaking to fishes and birds (genesis 1:22) which we know is not possible.
however, with “a king’s mind” if one looks for the implied truth behind its literary allusions it may bring immense benefit.
(proverb 25:2) for example:.

Genesis 1:14-18 show sun exists to “govern” or to guide us. Metaphysically, sun is a great teacher because it is always a giver of energy (light and heat), and never receives anything from others. At the sight of sun, one can think: “I too must be a giver of light and warmth” (i.e. I must choose to perform all my actions in such a way that others would feel enlightened and empowered/elevated), and just like sun does not receive anything from us I won’t be bothered about what I receive (such as honor/dishonor) from others, and will have no expectations from others!” Such an attitude brings freedom and happiness! Working for the welfare of others with no thought of reciprocation would also bring gratitude and reciprocation from others. Even if that doesn’t happen in some cases, still it is beneficial because our very make-up is such that doing something nice for another person produces a pleasant feeling that behavioral economists call a warm glow and strengthens your immunity. University of Zurich researchers investigated how areas in the brain communicated to produce this feeling. (http://www.media.uzh.ch/en/Press-Releases/2017/Generosity.html)
Genesis 1:28, 29 recommend care for inferior species also which would make peace the religion of mankind.
Genesis 1:26 implies no nation or individual can rightly be elevated over others.
That means, Genesis chapter one has enough principles that can make everything “very good.” (Gen 1:31) Yet, these are either neutralized or contradicted in the rest of the Bible. Thus Bible has become like Babel as it “has some good morals; and also has some clever fables, some blood-drenched history, a wealth of obscenity and upwards of a thousand lies.” (Mark Twain)
here are my notes from the r.c yesterday, the talk called "jehovah – the greatest example of endurance".
many of you will understand why i found it offensive.. jehovah has taken the hard option of choosing to endure:.
reproach to his holy name.
A God choosing to please the rebellious one is the imagination of human writers. A God who is all-wise and almighty can never find Himself in any enduring situation. Some Bible writers have no idea about an enduring God (Psalm 17:15; Rom 8:23; Ps 32:11; Psalm 16:11; 34:8)
no one doubts jesus extensively spoke about god’s kingdom because he said: “i must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of god to the other towns also, because that is why i was sent.” (luke 4:43) yet christian sects are divided over the subject whether jesus used god’s name or not.. it is said that god’s name jehovah was revealed to moses.
however jesus knew moses was not trustworthy.
(mathew 19:8) moses born and brought up in egypt could have been influenced by egyptian knowledge.
everapostate,
You are right. Why did such a great person who supposedly brought a division of history into BC and AD not leave something historical? Not an easy question to answer. Being a superhuman who came from heaven--why did he not leave a piece of his carpentry skill which would stand unique?
just like naming of days of the week and months are of astrological/pagan origin, the widely used word amen too is pagan, and has contributed to mind-control.. each time we say “amen” at the end of prayer we may think that we mean only "verily" and "truly".
unfortunately, we overlook something very important.
amen, amen-ra is the "most high" egyptian solar archetype [egyptian sun god, known as amun/amin/amen ra, meaning "the hidden god" and thus, the phrase "amen" would originally mean "let it remain hidden/secret."].

So every time when we say Amen, we are paying homage to the solar divinity, the sunlight, the light of the world, verily.
The very word itself is a combination of A (negative prefix, as in Asexual, or Amorphous designed to bring in a neutralizing effect) and MEN (stemming from the Proto-Indo-European root MEN- "think" (see MIND/MOON etymology). So, Men/ Mens/ ment/ mind/ mentis/ mensis/ menses/ menstrual, …all have their original roots in Egyptian theology, all coming from MIN (mind), the ancient moon god, which relates to our MIN-D, as well as THOTH (hence the word THOUGHT) who was also an ancient Egyptian moon god. Thus when someone says AMEN, he unwittingly means: "I am neutralizing my thinking (I am not for free thinking)" as in, "let it remain hidden/secret" as Amen is the HIDDEN ONE. Positively put, it would mean "so it is," and so shall it be, until we KNOW for a FACT which is at the root of all blind beliefs.

Crazyguy,
Yes, there seems to be a mixing of accounts from Serapis Christus, Osiris, Dionysus, Adonis, Attis, Mithras … etc.

61-62 jesus christ - "they [1st century christians] recognized him as their lord........because of his kingly position and authority.
it was in the full regal as well as priestly authority represented by jesus’ name that his followers preached.....to the “name” of this divinely commissioned king, the lord jesus christ.
It is taught that he died to free us from the bondage to sin, and yet sin continues to rule over us. If this never happened, it means his becoming king too is not going to happen.

i wanted to get people's opinion on something.
how do you feel when people use illegal means while performing their activism to shed light on the watchtower.
there have been people who have illegally recorded conversations with elders and with branch offices or at meetings.
No means is illegal when the aim is to help the victim from the unscrupulous elements. It is not action that determines what is right and wrong, but is the motive.
