this poison has little to do with the beauty of watchtower logic or the tasty morsels of jw reasoning.. the poison is odorless and tasteless and it has absorbed into their core premise: scripture interpretation directed by jehovah.. if you buy into the core premise (somebody possesses a divinely granted access to an infallible source of truth) you are already dead in the water.. that is the deal breaker.

Matter is very simple. If "There is no original manuscript preserved to be used to prove anything at all" it means God has not authorized the writing of scriptures. If he has, it follows that he must also take measures to preserve it.

And also, misinterpretation is the mother of all scriptures--hence we have many scriptures and interpretation--God must be laughing seeing all these fun.

I take lesson from everything I come across (not only from Bible). For example, when I sit in my car and see rear-view mirror, I take the lesson: Life is not for wasting time on worrying about what happened in the past as though to keep on looking at the rear-view mirror. I must drive forward. This does help me to be always in the now enjoying the moment to the fullest possible. And I have shared this lesson from the rear-view mirror with many people.

Enlightenment, Will It Be A Rather Common Experience In The Future?

it has been said by some that an enlightened being came/happened once every 500 years, but now they seem to be popping up all over the place.. the buddha had to meditate like hell, he even starved himself to attain it.

monks spend many years doing some are successful some are not.. i think with science looking into these nirvana states of mind that they will figure out a way to end suffering for the human species which will usher in a whole different way of life with higher intelligence running things.

from my understanding of enlightenment it is a sort of rewiring of the brain where the signals go up pleasure side of the amygdala where as painful emotions and sensations go up the other side.

It is easy to get enlightenment—I got it from analyzing my sleep.

1) Sometimes we get sleep when we want,
sometimes we get sleep when we don’t want in such situation as listening to a public talk,
and sometimes we don’t get sleep when we want.

It means life is a play of both free-will and destiny; hence when something that happens not according to our expectation, we can easily accept it.

2) When I look at the way my breathing happens—I realize that I only witness as it happens rather than I do the breathing which continues even while I am sleeping. So is the case with other circulations and vital functions such as digestion … etc. It means there exists an immaterial builder of body that can exist with or without body.

3) If this is my make-up, so is the make-up of rest of the humanity. Upon realizing this, feeling of me-and-other-separation ceases, and self-importance is no longer an issue and one’s intention is one to include, connect and co-operate with others. The more one does this, the more harmony it generates and the more beneficial it turns to be. According to many research studies, when some people who led a self-serving life in the past begin a compassionate life they feel good and happy. That means our very make-up teaches that humans have to be loving each other in order to feel good and to be happy. Scientists have found that generosity made people happier and promising to be more generous was enough to trigger a change in our brain giving us pleasant feeling. Genesis 1:14-18 show sun exists to “govern” or to guide us. Metaphysically, sun is a great teacher because it is always a giver of energy (light and heat), and never receives anything from others. no one doubts jesus extensively spoke about god’s kingdom because he said: “i must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of god to the other towns also, because that is why i was sent.” (luke 4:43) yet christian sects are divided over the subject whether jesus used god’s name or not.. it is said that god’s name jehovah was revealed to moses.

however jesus knew moses was not trustworthy.

(mathew 19:8) moses born and brought up in egypt could have been influenced by egyptian knowledge.

You are right. Why did such a great person who supposedly brought a division of history into BC and AD not leave something historical? Not an easy question to answer. Being a superhuman who came from heaven--why did he not leave a piece of his carpentry skill which would stand unique?

So, Men/ Mens/ ment/ mind/ mentis/ mensis/ menses/ menstrual, …all have their original roots in Egyptian theology, all coming from MIN (mind), the ancient moon god, which relates to our MIN-D, as well as THOTH (hence the word THOUGHT) who was also an ancient Egyptian moon god. Thus when someone says AMEN, he unwittingly means: "I am neutralizing my thinking (I am not for free thinking)" as in, "let it remain hidden/secret" as Amen is the HIDDEN ONE. Positively put, it would mean "so it is," and so shall it be, until we KNOW for a FACT which is at the root of all blind beliefs.
