  i got a call from the er last night---hubby had been in an accident and they were running tests and x-rays.

  he was in terrible pain.

  they called back during the night during the night saying he has a shattered sternum and other injuries.

  yep.....after 22 years, 19 of which i kept "hidden"...... i finally quit smoking!.

  my last butt was on the way to work on monday, valentines day.

  i remember saying to gwen i might bum a couple smokes off her cuz i didnt want to buy a pack and not finish it...i never did.

  john paul ii (i think he should be called jp the great) was described in the manuscript as "he who stoops in the sun.

  not only was jp a farmworker harvesting potatoes and turnips (believe me you'll stoop), but his charateristic gesture on arriving in foreign lands was to stoop and kiss the ground.

  Anyhow, I tried to read that thread by meatpie and couldnt get interested. I did hear someone say the next pope was going to be black a few years ago. They said it in a prophetical way. I was like "big deal"
