1 john 4:8 ~ "...god is love.

" self explanitory.. 1 corinthians 13:4 ~ "...love is not jealous..." so since god is love, that would mean he is not jealous as well, right?....

exodus 34:14 ~ "because jehovah, whose name is jealous, he is a jealous god".

2 different Gods. Old Testament God was a bit of a bastard. Maybe he sold mankind to God 2 (the ransom sacrifice) who loves the world and thought God 1 did not give them a fair go.

Or else it is all a pile of crap!

any videotape of Rutherford?

there are a lot of rutherford's speeches out there, but i have vnever seen a good video clip of him that i can remember.

anyone know of any?.

Many years ago I bought a VHS tape of footage of Rutherford at Beth Sarim and also at Beth Shan while they were building it, putting the roof on the shelter under the 'goat shed'. I will search it out and see if I can have it transferred to an mpeg.

hi, well the elders book did not make the reserve, close, but no cigar!

i think it was my fault, i should have put the auction on for longer.

evidently, if i had put it on for 10 days i would have had people who saw the auction start but not see it through to completion.

Hi, well the Elders book did not make the reserve, close, but no cigar! I think it was my fault, I should have put the auction on for longer. Evidently, if I had put it on for 10 days I would have had people who saw the auction start but not see it through to completion. There would have also been people who did not see the start of the auction but were present when the auction closed. Together, these people would have overlapped and I would actually had one group who saw all facets of the auction.

I will put the book up again but no one knows the day or hour it will happen. No doubt, some will 'run ahead' and try to guess when it will occur!

he still has some tapes of his talks doing the rounds.

Yes, the talk doing the rounds again was something about Jesus and his last day on earth. He gave my baptism talk in the 70's. I heard that he became 'apostate' (man, i hate that label!). Does anyone know if he is still in?
