  poor watchtower in australia, they made a loss of $1,537,325 in 2019 according to their filings with the government.

  they obviously can't participate in the national redress scheme as they don't have the funds.

  only problem is that they have sent over $77,000,000 of donations from australian publishers to overseas branches in the past 4 years.

  Were the apostles of the 'Anointed class' when they partook?

  according to john 20:22 the apostles did not receive the holy spirit until after jesus was resurrected.

  wouldn't this make them part of 'the other sheep' when they partook of the bread and wine?.

  if the slave is given control over the 'domestics' in 1919 and this includes anointed and great crowd what is left for the master to give the slave?

  all the worldly people will be destroyed so what is left?.

  i don't have much time for peter hollingworth.

  he has always acted like a pompous prick when i have met him or seen him on tv however he humbled himself and made an apology for his actions and the actions of the church.. any bets on if the gb would ever do this?.

  in particular i have all the old yearbooks (from 1927?

  ) and i was looking at selling the 1934 yearbook.

  thinking about a recent post regarding correspondence regarding disassociation i would like to see a unsubscribe button on the front page of jw.org when i get useless spam emails there is usually an unsubscribe button to stop getting this crap sent to me.

  usually i get one last email confirming my deletion.. if the society did put an unsubscribe button on their website i am sure it would be used so much it would melt down the site!.

  JW's and the axe

  the current state of the jws reminds me of the old joke about the father passing on an axe to his son.

  he says son, this axe has been used in our family for 5 generations.

  we have changed the handle a few times and twice had to put on a new blade but it is still the same axe your great grandfather used.. .

  Donation of blood fractions

  this may be the wrong area for this but here goes.. if you went to a bank and told them " i don't have an account with you, i never will have an account with you and i will tell people you are a terrible bank" then ask not for a loan from them, but a gift of a lot of money, how do you think they would respond?.

  yet, witnesses now have the the ability to take blood fractions from the blood bank without ever contributing to the blood bank.

  there is a process that the blood bank takes just the plasma from a donor to be used for fractions only.

  Anonymous Donation - Not!

  my mother in law (in her 80's) just told me that she had the elders around to pick up her 'donation' pledge.

  it was 'suggested that $20 a month was the average amount pledged but she could pledge more or less.

  so, rather than an anonymous amount they have a signed document stating the amount of her pledge.
