I had a JW that came to visit and had a bible study with Me. well long story short he ended up bringing his mother elder circut over seer and his co asked me if I was an xJW I said no he said get baptised and I will put in a word for you to work at bethal and you too can be an overseer just like Me. i asked why would I do that he said so you can keep the elders in line when they screw up. I said well thats kinda mean to say that. he said no the overseer's job is to make sure the congregation does there job so that they dont upset the governing body, Watchtower can afford to keep covering up the mistakes of the congregation.
Now tell me if this guy was a few fries short of a happy meal.

Who was the strangest JW you ever met?
by Preston ini knew a presiding overseer in the congregation i attened who was possibly the strangest person i ever met.
he took a rigorous position toward the society's view on everything!!!
he was against many things ....including....science fiction, fantasy, the x-files, disneyland, cartoons and football.
