Someone recently posted about a young boy being dragged to the back of the kh and screaming, "Jehovah, help me!" If you put yourself in that child's shoes, it's a very scary place to be.

Wouldnt you be pissed off if you made something you treasured, then an inferior thing tried to muscle in, and it would do no good whatsoever, leading to the destruction of what you made.
Logical, I agree that God's jealousy is of greater importance than ours. But you can take your quote above and apply it to a human relationship. You meet someone, you fall in love, you work on the relationship until you are completely bonded. An inferior outsider steps in and destroys what you have treasured. You will feel the same jealousy that God has.

I have a couple of bibles here and you probably know I am referring to 1 Cor. 13:4 when I ask, "why did Paul say that Love isn't jealous?" KJV uses "envieth"; jw version uses "jealous". Perhaps it's in the translations of the word God used when he was describing himself as jealous. Dunno.
