"nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "five minutes" and end with "fine" .

go ahead (with raised eyebrows!

this means "i give up" or "do what you want because i don't care" you will get a "raised eyebrow go ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by "nothing" and "fine" and she will talk to you in about "five minutes" when she cools off.

Were You Afraid Of The Elders?.Did Ya Love Em?...What Was Your View of Them

i've heard of brothers and sisters saying that they have "prayed for the elders because they love them for their hard work and sacrifice".

i've also heard of how some in the congregation were petrified of the elders and of course, there were those that said they were either only men or that they were direct representatives of jehovah god himself.

There were a couple that i will never forget.

One of which gave one of his organs to his dying nonbelieving wife. He was very nice and understanding man, i hope he made it out somehow.

Bad news about the house. : /

i have been holding off making a public announcement for awhile because i have been waiting for all of the paperwork to become official... but the company that is building my house has been dragging their feet, trying to delay the inevitable.. the bottom line is this: i won't be able to buy the house.

when i was doing contract work, i was making x amount of money.

i had anticipated a pay cut caused by my becoming a permanent employee, but the pay cut turned out to be more substancial than i had anticipated.
