Interesting questions celt. I have taken a tai chi class, and I love it. I think it is great relaxation technique. Healing is something i had to do, and still must do. I think you need to heal the whole person, or the healing will be ineffective. That of course is why I am going to be an occupational therapist. I knew when i was healed when I felt whole again. I however had life events, that have required me to be healed again. I think it is an ongoing process. I do tai chi, yoga, and muslce contraction techniques to relax and meditate....

by Celtic inwe all hear it, healing non stop, what is healing by your definition and/or action?

borderline personality disorder

my mom has it, and we no longer have a relationship.

Thanks dungbeetle. I just sent my mom a postcard yesterday. I have not spoken to her on the phone since sept, and have not seen her since may. It is so tough. I feel like I have lost my parent, and in a way I have....Thanks for the support

All it took

it was all it took to restore in me my desire to be an occupational therapist and my desire to be a good person.
this guy called in with a traumatic brain injury as result of a car accident.

It was all it took to restore in me my desire to be an occupational therapist and my desire to be a good person. This guy called in with a traumatic brain injury as result of a car accident. He was having finacial troubles, medical problems. His dad recently died and he found his father dead. The man had lost everything important to him. He really just needed someone empathetic and to give him the benefit of the doubt and to be patient with him because he had memory and speech problems result from the injury. He thanked me so many times, even telling me that he was giving me a hug through the phone. It is when I can do this for a person that makes me want to continue.

RunningMan, I read the article you posted too. Some of that was kinda ridiculous too. I mean a six year old saying the jesus was weak and stupid. Harry Potter in no way shape or form promotes that. have any of you read the books? If you have, you would know both of those sights are crazy. It does not teach kids to worship satan. there is no mention of satan. It teaches kids to do the right thing, even if it is through fantasy.

Well I got the page to load. I think that it was ridiculous. Harry Potter has given many kids a desire to read, not only Harry Potter books, but other books as well. It has gotten kids away from playing video games 24/7 and allowed them to use their imaginations. If you take imaginations from kids, you are taking their childhood. I think it is ridiculous to say Harry Potter supports the devil. If you say that, then you can relate just about anything to the devil. Do you not remember what it was like to be a kid, and love to dream about fantasy worlds. I am sorry, but I feel very strongly on this matter. And I get very irritated when people want to sensor this.

Well the page would not load, but please Harry Potter is not the devil. All these people out there are saying it is so bad for kids to read Harry Potter, when it is a book that spurs the imagination. The books are wonderful and I cannot wait to see the movie.
