Never get the "high quality babe"? hhhmmm to be honest that makes me wonder what it is you are looking for in a woman Dan. Maybe instead of giving up you might want to rethink your own priorities.

Ever have a paranormal event in your life, please share?
by free2beme ini am one who believes strongly in the spirit realm, paranormal activity, etc.
even with such a strong belief, i am often told by skeptics that such things are foolish and nonsense.
while i accept people have the right to feel however they want, i have often shared stories with people that are hard to explain with logic and find others have events like this too.

The hotel I work at is an old one that burned down once killing 3 people. One Monday morning I was in early with my daughter. There were no guests in over the weekend so the hotel was empty. We went into the lounge area which has a long hall extending to the back of the hotel and ends in a locked door that goes out into the back where the lift for food and back stairs are. The light was on in the hallway and I commented to my daughter "ooohh someone is going to be in trouble for leaving that light on!". The light went out. We thought at first maybe the bulb had just gone out but I went behind the bar and the light switched right on. When I mentioned it to the owners they very matter of factly informed me the hotel was haunted and it was probably one of the ghosts.

by Mysterious ini remember the jw view of martial arts being cemented in my head when i asked my mother at the age of 6 if i could take karate.
the look of horror on her face.
she told me it was violent and jws could not practice violence.

I've taken Krav Maga and loved it. Besides kicking my ass into shape it gave me a lot of confidence in regard to my own personal safety.

Mr. Flipper & Son Hear, See, and Get Footprints of Bigfoot on Pack Trip
by flipper inso, the long awaited trip began for my son and i to return to the same place he heard a bigfoot a year ago in the forests of northern california.
the trip started out unfortunately for us to be a 7 mile hike instead of a 2 to 3 mile hike in to our base camp , as huge snow drifts covered the road , making it even inaccessible for 4 wheel drive, so , with packs on backs we hiked over 50 ft long snow drifts on places on the trail.
even snow was covering one creek near the lake we were destined for .

"Why does America always bomb other countries?", my son asked tonight.
by digderidoo infirst of all i do not want to turn this into an american bashing thread, that is not my intention at all.. i would like to hear americans opinions as to what my thirteen year old son asked me tonight.. on the way back from swimming tonight my two sons (13 and 11) and myself started talking about wars.
my 11 year old was the first to bring it up talking about wwi & ww2.
we had an interesting conversation about it, then the subject got onto nuclear bombs.

It's been interesting here for me to see how other people view my country. So far all the input I've received has been very favorable. Funny thing, Ross and I were sitting in a waiting room with two older women and they started talking about how a local taxi driver had tried to fleece an american tourist. They were very indignant because they consider americans to be their allies and I swear to god their very words were "if it weren't for the americans we would be speaking german", Ross almost split a gut to keep from laughing. It was funnier because they weren't even aware I was an american.

We have had some amazingly beautiful weather here the past few days. You don't get good weather often but when you do you understand why people live here! Bit overcast today so the sunny streak may be over for a bit.

Just because you can find it in your size....
by Wordly Andre inyesterday, i was in court and was sitting in the front row going through my paperwork waiting to see if the defendant will show, i look across the walk way and there is a very large latina girl sitting directly across from me.
she was wearing a short little black dress that had a slit all the way up to ass cheek, her boobs were nearly popping out, her little black dress shoes looked as if she was baking bread in them.
now don't get me wrong i have nothing against full figured girls, however there are limits, i mean did she not know that when she sat down her dress went up over her ass?

Sirona,
What we meant by appropriate is something which doesn't show too much (which you appear to agree with - your comment regarding sex ed)
"we"? So you are the group spokes person? I guess I missed the election. IMO show to much apparently means different things to different people.
Of course if someone wants to show too much that is their choice, but all I'm saying (and I think this is what others were saying) is that if they do this, they look damned awful. If they want to go around looking hideous its up to them, but they can't complain when their dress choices ostracise them from others (because others are too embarressed to look, or too grossed out to look!)
Again I guess because you find something hideous it must be, eh? Oh wait I forgot you were speaking for everyone...my bad.
Of course apart from that, it doesn't matter what *style* someone chooses.
Good to know I was thinking I needed to run all my clothing selections by you for approval.
I don't see how making observations like this are "judgemental".
Of course you don't.
What about these observations....
it was like a flesh avalanche, there were dimples on the side of her ass. I'm never really shocked at how people come to court but this was horrible, and what is up with eye liner around the lips instead of wearing lipstick. She caught me looking at her and smiled at me oh man I wish I had a camera. Do any of you know my pain? My poor freaking eyes
size 22, lots of cellulite, and the fabric was thinner and...flesh colored. My eyes haven't recovered either.
she certainly was a freak show
I guess some people don't look in the mirror before leaving the house
Just a few select quotes...not judgemental of anyone at all are they? I wonder when you say these things about people if it makes you feel better about yourself? Do you ever wonder about their lives...why they make the choices they do? Or do you just snicker to your friends and feel oh so proud that you are sooo much better than them?
The fact I even have to say this really makes you wonder....

Who gets to decide what is appropriate? If they are comfortable in their skin and are clothed enough that my kid doesn't get a sex ed lesson from looking at them then I say more power to em! If you don't like what they are wearing then look awayyyyy looookkkkkk awwwwaaaaayyyyyy.....
