need help bad, 70's song, auld lang syne

i need real help here, tonite at the club at 12 midnight, they played the traditional auld lang syne song, the melody,,,,,,,,,then they later played another song, at the end it says the words to auld lang syne...........who sang this song............. .

please help me find out who sang it.... .

here are a few lyrics i can remember............. it is a late 70's early 80 songs .

Prisca and Refiners: I wish you could somehow appreciate how much I enjoyed putting this together with some of the memories of the folks here at JWD who I have come in contact with and what I've learned about them over some of the past year. Some I've grown to love.
I am dumbfounded how this heartfelt post could have turned into something for either of you. It was my Happy Last Year and Happy New Year post to folks here (although not all of them because I couldn't find enough smurfs).
Some things are just obvious and this is a New Year and I'm still finding smurfs to post to my thread so I will request that my thread not be turned into anything other than I originally intended.

A new year ... a new start ...

well, 2002 comes to a close and it's been a busy year.. we have had over 380,000 posts!

in them we've laughed, we've cried, we've celebrated and commiserated, we've fallen out and made up and we've seen new people come and people move on.. what's to come in 2003?.

well, some changes .... the new forum is nearly ready (though i expect will never be 'finished' lol) and i think it is a good opportinity to do some things differently and make a 'fresh start'.. i have incorporated features that will allow me to give other people the chance to get involved running the site so it becomes less 'mine' and more 'ours'.
