Meet the pup......
by bikerchic ini just wanted to introduce to you our new dog.
he's a 5 year old sheltie named samba.
we adopted him from a family who had to give him up due to allergies, it broke their heart to part with him as they had put a lot of love and care into him.

Surgery Tomorrow
by Satanus ina simple tooth extraction has led to this.
it was an upper tooth that was root canaled.
canal went bad and i had it pulled out in about six pieces.

My heart is aching for MS patient
by Frannie Banannie inkristi is terminal.
she developed a fistula that would take forever to heal.....and that's only if she doesn't eat or drink anything for 6 to 9 months.
her lower digestive tract was destroyed last year by the radiation.....the docs doubled the radiation for expediency at the time, obviously not thinking about the end results.

XW, we could all do with a US history refresher.
Ah, so true. Doing a lot of that myself lately. It's been fun for me also because my mother is such a history buff. When I have questions I can ask her and she is able to engage in a discussion about something she loves. I've really enjoyed those conversations.

Although I do think the case was decided correctly I find some real hypocrisy here. JW's are supposed to keep themselves separate from the world with regard to politics and government but then want to avail themselves of the powers of those very institutions with the result of monetary gain? This wasn't a case of "rendering unto Caesar"- this person went to them!

Is it getting warm in here or is it just me?
by jeanniebeanz inlately, it seems to be that people are on edge and are forgetting common courtesy in their posts.
people have told me that they were thinking of un-subscribing or at least taking a long break from the board due to people who take their negative opinion of the subject or opinion being discussed, and turn it into a personal attack.. what is happening here?
any idea why this sudden spike in overbearing rude people posting here?
