  i was attacked here when i first admitted that i was studying with the jw's.

  i also noted that blessed_something or other (sorry, bad memory) was attacked also....just because we say something positive about the jw's!

  i think that is mighty unfair and defeats the purpose of you trying to turn us against the jw's.

  I must agree with you. If anyone cares to do a search on my posts they can see how many times I have been attacked. It is certainly surprising to see such behavior from people who have been enlightened. Instead of discussion, one is quickly dismissed as a troll, if not cursed for no substantial reason. Is this board turning into nothing more than a name calling contest?

  you show them why the society is wrong on prohecy, theres no authority for the gb, mistakes and changes and how they have damaged lives, and everything else you can think of .. and what do they say.. "does it really matter?

  I am not aware or have ever been aware of filling out a slip of paper. Did you fill out the slip of paper? When were you baptized, I find it interesting that before your baptism you asked "if i would have any problems down the road should I choose to quite", for if this question were presented today, it would be obvious such a person was not prepared for rebirth and would not have basic knowledge.

  the june 1st wt has the cover article should you be afraid of death?

  on the first page it sets the scene as to how death casts a shadow over us.

  it then seemingly gloats over how people in the world are fixated by death.

  A famous Pop musical star stated that Americans are fascinated and obsessed with death. And his videos were meant to reflect that. Talking about death and the hope after is not peculiar to the Jehovahs.

  what do you think?if the gb came out with a new policy, such as you must now spit at people who dont take the mags off you on the ministry, and give some obscure scripture to prove it.. would the witnesses do it?

  the familiar tale of moses approaching pharoah with the demand to free israelite slaves has always purplexed me.

  the account says that yhwh miraculously changed moses staff into a serpant but then just as miraculously pharoah's priests did likewise.

  does this not "prove" that satan is equally capable of creating life from nothing?

  do we apostates fall into the same trap as jehovahs witnesses when it comes to blinding ourselves to the truth?.

  how often have i confronted jws with overwhelming evidence that the so called signs of the times are simply not being fulfilled in our day only for them to bring up some barely relevant snippet of information, which, to them, shoots my argument down in flames?

  it is incredible how jws can ignore the camel of evidence that contradicts what they believe and then exult over the gnat of evidence that supports their view.
