i know i threatened this last year, but this km scan thing came up, and i always said i'd stick around while that was current.
now that that phase is over (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/49057/1.ashx), i can drift off as i intended over 6 months ago.
i won't say it hasn't been fun, and i've appreciated the comments on this site greatly.

Steph. Nice to see you, it's been a while. Is the request from your web host from a valid source or just some irritated, a--hole dub, who thinks he's performing theocratic warfare ? May want to dig a little deeper on that one.
There could be a problem though, if you are reproducing the whole KM, and not just exerpts !

i finally broke down yesterday and "did something".
i did manage to last until about 5 pm, doing nothing.. i drove down to a homebrew supply shop and bought my first beer-making kit.
i've read the directions several times, as well as done some research on the net so i feel fairly confident that i can do it.
Estee. That brings back memories. Had a jw acquaintance, who lived in the rurals, with his family, so they didn't get into the KH very often. So he would make better use of his time by double distilling vodka from potatoe peelings.

meantime i'd got my file on un/wts ready(it's been ready for ages) and primed husband to witness the entertainment.this went on for about an hour and a half.i was utterly in control of myself and the entire interrogation(me of them).neither of them would look at any of my evidence of the wt's blasphemous hypocrisy, so i read it out to them,(you come to my house so i'm going to tell you this) they tried to wriggle their way out but i wanted them to admit their weakness.
i really let them have it.they parried i thrusted.

jgnat......Good point. Can you imagine, if the elders had to make a number of those calls within a few weeks, and they keep running into people with the conviction and determination of meat pie. I doubt they would have the energy to try this again next year. Course after this episode, they might be on the receiving end next year.
