i usually post from work, but i occasionally post from home (now).. by far and away, most of my posts are from work (when time permits), but i occasionally post from home, when i find the pc is not being used by cj or the kids.. do any of you use public access pcs, such as librarys, or internet cafes etc, or is most of your input from home or work ?.

Minimus. I had to sit through one of those " talks ", and I can't believe I didn't stand up at the time and just tell them all to just FOOK OFF !
And that fargan Achan story, That got to be the jws "most rented video" version of a reproof talk.
I honestly don't know how you can put up with that crap.

Princess. Sounds like you are going to have a great time. CJ and I are jealous. Due to other commitments we couldn't even make the Green Bay fest this year, which is a lot closer to us, than the SeaTac area.
However my parents live in Aldergrove B.C. and we go out to visit them from time to time, and it would sure be nice to travel down and meet with you all.
If you recall, it was your thread, about your's and hubby's disfellowshipping announcement, complete with pics, that got CJ all fired up, and she finally joined us here. I think you are her "American Idol"
We will be thinking of you, and hoping for another opportunity, in the future. I would like to meet your dad ( the silent one ) and I understand you know LB and TH. That should be an interesting meetup

these do not seem to be the subject of "verbal" abuse or self-resignation, but they just, well...vanished!

I have to agree with Rocketman, on this one. The only reason I would ask, is because I am concerned about someone.
OUTLAW has me a tad concerned, because he's just plum evaporated, and no one seems to know exactly what's going on, and I miss him.

I have to laugh at myself. This board has been such a place of healing, and I have found such a comradary here, even though I don't agree with everyone, all the time, who cares ? We have shed that mentality for the most part, and that's what makes this place and those who post here " A breath of fresh air "

today is a lazy rainy sunday here.
so i splurged and watched the first 6 episodes of last season's 24. costco had the whole first season on dvd for only $39.99 the other day, so i got it.
that seems to me to be a bargain compared to some of the other shows on sale.
Yes I know this is a resurrected post, but this is the first time I've seen the subject mentioned.
CJ and I got into it last year, when the Mystery channel had a special entitled " 24 in 24 "
I had no idea what the show was about, but I had read reviews on it being an excelleant show.
So I had no idea, that when I began watching on a Saturday morning at 9:00 am that the show had been running for 12 hours from the previous Friday night.
Yup, you guessed it, 12 hours later, at 9:00 pm Saturday night, guess who is still in front of the TV, totally riveted to this show. I wasted the whole day away, watching. We were hooked.
With the way the show has been going this year, I almost thought it would be best to wait until the end of the year, and wait for it to come out in the DVD edition.
We find it agonizing to wait from one week to the next.
Thank goodness, it's been given a renewal for next year. I can't understand it being more popular, than it is. And from FOX networks no less !
i am kaz's hubby, but i am having to use her "name" as i don't seem able to sign on for a name of my own, is it because we are using the same computer and phone line?.
i am now out of the jws after over twenty years of brainwashing .

I remember that..........Boom all of a sudden Jesus has a beard. Until then he was the cleanest shaven guy to ever adorn the pages of the WTS publications.
