i noticed that many can't really free from the past in the org despite many years outside of jw.

I'm doing what you're doing for the last 5 years. What are you doing for commenting and field service? I can only comment with things that I agree with about twice per year at this point. And I REALLY REALLY hate being out in the ministry. I conduct no BSs, and have one RV mag route situation.
the majority of members who tend to join this forum have been hurt possibly even traumatized sometimes to the point of wanting to end their lives.
upon joining the forum, new members are welcomed with open arms, welcome messages start pouring in, "likes" are freely given, a false sense of security is promoted where a member is free to speak his mind without having to worry about the wt gestapo.
again, similar to how potential converts are welcomed and "love bombed" upon entering a kh for the first time.
I understand your concern, if it is regarding Bible believing Christian xJWs. They can't help but consider xJW atheists as fools, since there beloved book tells them to do so.

since you seem to be so good at looking at the "lies of the watchtower" what do you people think of your lives now, religiously speaking?
in the discussion about race i adopted a position i am not entirely comfortable with.
i think there is a sense in which it is useful to distinguish categories of description that can be fruitfully defended (apples and bananas) and those that cannot (caucasian or other racial descriptions for example).
but there is a more fundamental sense in which i believe that everything is socially constructed, every single line you can think of.
If I watched, for the first time, a lion jump on a kudu. No one would have to tell me that the lion might be dangerous. No words would need to be conveyed, no discourse, no language. I would know that the lion is a dangerous predator, and wouldn't need the words to describe it to act accordingly.
Now if I were to relay this fact to another human that has never seen a lion, language would be a big help.

I would encourage you to pursue activism, since you have a desire and circumstance for it. The professionalism you could bring to it could do much help. There can never be too much quality activism against the bOrg. Personally, I'm working with another xJW on a podcast that should go live this month.

maybe just about nine people were out and man if you could just see their faces.
The fact that so many pioneers study with other people's JW kids keeps them out of sight as well.
congregations get an annual letter that tells what can be ordered for literature (it's mainly a list of audio cds/dvds for the deaf), but this time it included publications that will be discontinued, and this included the isaiah's prophecy book and the reasoning book, and i think i saw the draw close to jehovah book.
i meant to take a picture of the letter but forgot.
the branch is only going to give what they have on stock, when that stock depletes that's it, you won't be able to order those publications anymore.. this is in canada so i don't know if this is worldwide..

i've been out a while and have only put in a rare appearance at a memorial or brief visit at a convention/assembly to keep people off my back, so i haven't kept up on the songbook.
but one thing i've noticed that the org.
has been doing that they never did when i was in is all these "supplemental songs" that keep appearing.

He plays the piano and sings very well.

The problem he has is that he can't write lyrics nor music, plus his narcissism gets in the way of everything he does.

(colossians 2:8 compare 2:11, 16, 17) in view of the over-all view of the bible, there is no excuse to use the word philosophy with any negative connotation.
jws built their stand on philosophy based on this wrong (negative) use of the word philosophy found in colossians 2:8.. the greek word philosophi a means love of wisdom.
