i am an agnostic atheist and its so so hard for me to believe in a god or higher power.

As Moxie, the founder of JWR, handed off to Rifter, perhaps Rifter should do (should have done?) something similar.

If the fairy tale book hints at shunning for any reason, and the fairy tale believers take it too far, the fault is the book for not being clear enough, in exact detail, what it is implying.

How about an entire book of the Bible on shunning, how to do it and not do it. Instead we get Song of Solomon, or Job, or some other ignorable tripe.

If you are Christian and feel the need to set a JW straight, start of with some common footing by establishing what all you agree on:

The Bible is God's Word
Homosexuality is an abomination
Women should know their place in the family and at church
Teens should feel guilty about masturbating
The human race is only 6,000 years old

After that you can start splitting hairs about how drinking fake human blood ought to be done.
