... actually, connie was too nice to the jw leaders in her questions ... and i appreciate the two young ex-jw girls who connie interviewed ... they were straight forward, clear, and credible ... and they did a good job making the case ... and kudos to bill bowen for calling the watchtower's statement a bold-faced lie, because that is what it is ... the watchtower society clearly lied as to what they say their policy is, and what has been practiced in real life.

WOULD YOU PREACH TO A DOG???
by minimus inthis little gem is from the watchtower, january 15, 2000...."in el salvador,one man tied his vicious dog in front of the door whenever he saw jehovah's witnesses nearby.
the man would wait for the witnesses to move on, and then he would bring the dog back into the house.
the brothers were never able to speak to the man.

it kinda reminds me of the story about that old tree that the environmentalist wouldn't let the wt cut down to build their new kingdom hall, and low and behold there was a fierce lightning storm where a bolt of lightning hit the big tree. guess what happened then.....
or how about the one where someone threw the truth book out of the window of a moving train and it hit this guy in the head and guess what happened then....

Sheila Bowen's Letter To the GB!
by Ranchette ini knocked on the locked door of the appeal hearing last night after they had dismissed bill and told the six elders that i had something to say to them and told them it was summed up it a letter i had written.i then asked them if i could read it to them and they could have their own copy when i was finished.they said that would be fine.. here it is.

today i spoke to bill bowen for an hour and it only reinforced my high regards for what he is doing and has done. what stood out was a comment made that "the irony is that all we did was speak truth about an organization that claims to have the truth, and for that we are kicked out".
those jw's on that thread--it was sad --to think i used to be one of them and not use my mind

how old are you? it was a little wierd to celebrate my birthday again, but i enjoy it now. i had a 40'th birthday party for my boyfriend-
also an xjw-and it was kind of difficult for him at first, but he is getting used to the idea. can you imagine that we used to believe it was so terribly wrong to acknowledge one's birth into this life? all we did was eat cake not be-head anyone. the idea never once crossed my mind !!! hope you enjoyed your day and glad you shared it here.
