I know the feeling..I wish I had the answerz...it has taken me and MY parental units almost 10 years and just recently in the wake of my divorce have they shown ANY type of caring and compassion..I feel for ya...it is a hard path that children of jw have to trudge on...just member this...I have been holding onto this one for a very very long time and with the exception of just a FEW loose screws in my head it seems to have worked. whatever doesnt kill u makes u a stronger person...
All that jws are taught about "family" is all based upon such strict conditional rules and regulations that are enforced thru gestapo tactics..its no wonder that those that come out are as deranged as we are...LOL. Power to ya sp...

NEARLY 17 YEAR OLD BOY IS MINISTERIAL SERVANT

i just heard some wonderful news of another boy being appointed a ministerial servant.
the comment was that even though he is young, he is very mature.another person, speaking of a different boy being appointed said that he had the added advantage of being home schooled and that really helped him to mature.

by zanex inwow so i am totally confuzed now...my dad sent me a page on my 2 way pager last nite sayin that he had an email that he was going to send to my ex and her parental units and that he wanted to make sure that i was ok with the content that was going to be in the letter.
now knowing me and my past experiences i'm sure everyone here knows how extremely crass i took that, i was totally expecting something negative and scathingly dubbish...in reality tho when i got to a computer and read what he had written i am loathe to say that my jaw was on the ground...they stood up for me!
my ex has 2 sets of parents that has been totally assisting her and i have been on my own out here but now i think that maybe i will get some assistance from my parents of all people!

The Meaning of Names....?
by SpiceItUp inthere are some that are obvious and then others that just baffle me to no end..... yes i am talking about your user names.... do any of you have stories behind them or are they significant for some reason or are they just a word you made up?.
mine...well its easy.... i got the nickname of spicy back in nov of last year when i dyed my hair this crazy red color and the name of the color was "spiced ginger".
the rest of it is because i love to make things more interesting---- sorta of like adding a bit of spice to the stew (hopefully i come across as that as well .

i think i'd go with sherlock holmes (attention to detail and analytical ability) or captain nemo (freedom to explore).. incidentally sherlock holmes is based on a real person.
