MY HUSBAND HAD A HEART ATTACK, NOT DOING WELL
by orangefatcat ini guess many of you wondered where i have been off to again ... mylast post was about my hospital stay and now marco is in the hospital since monday in critacal conditon, requiring a quadruple by pass.. the most important thing right now is to make sure they stablize him and the hospital has run many tests to see if he can take the strain of this operation.. he saw the neurologist (marco had a history of brain aneurysms) and the neurologist has given the okay and now he needs to have a memory test from the occupational therapist.. if his memory is not good they can't do the surgery as in the case of marco being 78 yrs old and having early dementia it poses a problem.
apparently with bypass surgery it can lead to full blown memory lose.
and this is my major worry.

Medical Testing
by Sunspot ini went to the lab last week for standard tests i have every three months before my scheduled doctor's visit.
my appointment was this past tuesday and my doc said there were "some concerns" with my test results.
needless to say, it didn't sound good, and it has not even been a year (june) since i had that throat operation (cancerous parathyroid) where i was on a respirator for a week....(i started to bleed under the closed incision and stopped breathing in the recovery room)... but he had the office receptionist make an appointment for me and when they said "for may 30th" he said no, he wanted me in asap to "nip any more problems in the bud".

I don't think any of us care in the least that Joel is gay. However, we do care that he is so devious and totally ignored the many pleas that were written to him when this "knocking" was first annouced on this forum. His approach to this documentary is totally biased and the fact that it is sanctioned by the WTBTS only shows how extreme (maybe desperate) the Society can be to promote their organisation. His sexual orientation also explains why Anderson Cooper (also gay) is a sponsor of this documentary. I also learned that Joel had a gay partner, a young Dr, named Mark Lim, who died of liver failure. Likely that is why he heard about 'Seth" the JW young man who received the liver transplant.

I can take shunning from all the other of my JW family - but know how much more horrid it would be had I a child under their control.

She finally passed away
by LovesDubs inmy brother called me yesterday from california and told me his dear wife had finally passed away at 9:40 pst.
she fought long and hard and didnt go easily into the night.
if god wanted her home she wasnt going to go without a fight!

((((Love Dubs)))) Tho is doesn't seem like it right now, the passing of time will leave you and her other family with the 'good' memories, The pain and troubles eventually become easier to deal with as one goes about living. "Talk" about it if you feel the need, for some this is vital in order to be able to push forward. Love Zazu

I've been trying to check out some of their funding sources - remember "follow the money" They have a big name lawyer from Baltimore, who handles 'estate law, ie. big bucks from JW's who have been urged to leave assets/estates to WTBTS? Another one is a securities advisor? I'm just beginning to check these out - will post more as I learn who these people are...but you can bet they were suggested by Brooklyn - They didn't fund it themselves - in order to "appear" clean, ha! And, of course, Anderson Cooper- probably involved due to his gay comunity affiliations with Joel Engardio, as well as a fellow journalist Poor Jen, one thing, for certain - I bet at this point she is feeling as if she, too, has been taken for a ride and now knows the documentary is biased and inaccurate I wonder if Joel even told her of all the e-mails that were sent to him regarding this show;long before it was accepted for airing. PREDICTION: THE forum will NOT reopen after May 22.! To allow further discussion only points out the lack of unbiased journalism - a highly unethical and unprofessonal piece of work!.
