Ok after the earthquake

dear friends, .

we had a scary earthquake in peru... from cnn "a 7.9-magnitude earthquake centered off peru's coast killed at least 337 people and left another 1,350 hurt, the nation's health ministry said"... but everybody in the family is ok... we just had a big fright.

we had to run out of our homes & wait for it to pass .

My granddaughter 5 mos old passed away today...

her name was aliyah.

she would have been 5 mos tomorrow.

Tatiana, All deaths are tragic, but the loss of a baby seems so much more so. My thoughts and prayers are of small comfort, but I hope all our thoughts will help to sustain you - if only to a small degree. Please get some rest, you will surely need it to get through the next few weeks. When you can and need to, we are here to listen. Love to all of you. Zazu

The mint used in an authentic Cuban mojito is always SPEARMINT, nor reguler mint. Makes a major difference.

it is a person my great grandmother knew, and he was quite famous in his day, and i semi-admire him with a little caution.

i must apoligize to many of you wonderful friends here for having been tardy in getting back to everyone.. it has been quite a rollercoster for me, and i am just trying to take life one day at atime.

i have moments when i feel more sorrow than other days.

i have some great friends who have supported me during some of these rougher days.. i recieved many cards of condolances.
