Mimilly,
Gave me the shivers just reading your list. So sorry you are suffering, hope it ends soon. (((Mimilly)))
you know you have a migraine when:.
- the twittering of birds outside your window sound like shrill blasts of whistles.. - the morning traffic makes you wonder when freight trains started chugging through town - they weren't there yesterday.. - you go to smooth your hair back and cringe "whoa!
who kicked me in .

A warm welcome to the both of you.
i believe that queenie is still posting using the names hildabingen and mystikool.. has any one else noticed the similarities?
I think the poster QUEENIE is definitely an ex-jw - one who has many problems, especially health wise. Perhaps she is hospitalized, once again
i know, i know, more bragging.. but it is exciting.
my daughter will be in london from july 18th to august 4th for business study credits.
instead of taking the class she needs to graduate with an aa this summer, she'll be going to england and scotland.
TR, great news. Nice to 'see' a proud daddy, and I hope you get to go too.
hoping you are doing well bill.
please know that you are in my thoughts.
i am sure that kind thoughts abound everywhere.
Dear Bill,
Glad to hear it went well and hope you have a speedy recovery, too.
Somehow, I can't imagine you taking it easy though. :) (((Love & Hugs to all the Bowens))).
i'm new to this board and just wanted to share my story with everyone here.
i used to live in arizona.
i was very shy and quiet when i was younger.
Wasa, I wanted to add that I was definitely under the impression that these were JW only schools.
In fact, it was at a convention in the early 60's that I met a young woman and her brother who attended the Long Island school. It was definitely only for JW's, as I remember her commenting how much nicer it was not to have to deal with 'wordly people.'
I can't imagine at all that non-JWs would be allowed to attend - rather defeats the whole purpose IMO.
Larc, your thought as to 'what better way to convert' simply doesn't compute.
But, as far as the Phoenix area school, this was told to me by my mother, and would have been in the mid-70's, and into the mid-80, seemingly in the time period poster Jacinta said she was there?
(((Hugs, Jacinta))). I think, perhaps, your reading the site, and seeing all the postings re the molestation cover-ups, inspired you to post your personal experience. Please, understand, that because we have had an influx of disruptive JW apologists, we are on 'high alert' re possible trouble makers.
Do, e-mail me...I think we can easily confirm if you knew any of the several people I personally knew in the Glendale Congregation. Some of them had rather unusual events that you would probably know about if you attended there.

Hello All,
I just want to relate that I have heard of JW schools. At one time there were several in Pennsylvania, another in Long Island, NY. And, more importantly I recall my own mother mentioning that they had started one in Arizona.
Whether or not these schools are still operating, I simply don't know.
Jacinta, my mother and stepfather were in the Glendale Congregation. If you e-mail me with the years you are speaking of, I will provide their names, if the years match-up with the
time-frame that all of you were there.
My mother passed away, and my stepdad is now remarried and has left Arizona.
For many years we did not speak, but he has been quite ill recently, and we have at least been communicating a bit.
It might be possible for me to mention your molesters, in a round-about way, to see if they are among the people he still keeps in touch with.
Welcome to the forum.

no date has been set yet, but the engagement will be short.
probably sometime this summer.
Andi,
I'm so happy for you and Neil. Sincere congratulations to you both - and best wishes for a long and happy life together.
this might be a piece of history some of you don't know about me.
i know a couple of you do.
so i'm hoping maybe y'all might have some suggestions in how i move forward.. my mother and father divorced when i was about 4. we lived in japan and my father was granted custody.
Andi,
You have received some great suggestions. From what you remember about your mother, I would expect her to experience much joy if you can get in touch.
I have one other possible suggestion.
We have a poster who lives in Japan, JWD. Haven't seen him around here recently, but check the member's list.
If you e-mailed him, he might have some ideas also.
Hoping you soon have a very happy reunion with mom. ((((Hugs))))
