I was eagerly awaiting part 02 and I wasn't disappointed! You really should write a book. This is all excellent material.

The demon plant
by kenpodragon inwhen i was a witness we had a very paroniod congregation.
(true story) in one case we had a bad moment in the congregation and people said we were having demon problems.
thus they figured something was wrong.

That's funny. It's also funny how the society has generated all these crazy demon urban legends over the years.

None, except for maybe one William Faulker novel (The Sound and the Fury). God forbid we read a non-society book.

WERE YOU A WITNESS FU**?
by minimus ina very good friend of mine ,who was an elder at the time, accurately came up with an expression when somebody acted in a certain way.
let's say a person was a real goody 2 shoes, always supporting the organization, and probably either lierally or figuratively, screwing his brother or sister, he would be labeled a "real witness fu**.
" toward the end of his eldership , he was pretty much calling everybody "a witness fu**.

Oh yes - and my mother always used to say "why can't you be just like sister-so-and-so". What makes it sad is that she was really pained to the heart over this. I was the complete opposite.

Worst watchtower you tryed to place!!
by haujobbz in.
the worst magazines i tryed to place was about 13 months ago i think 1 was the watchower on witchcraft and the other was the elderly commiting suicide.i thought how the hell am i going to offer this mag on witchcraft, i think i ended giving them to the pioneers,i mean what sort of presentation could i use with this witchcraft article i suppose i could of spoke about the blair witch project and tell them how c:@p it was,i mean i loved horror films.and to make things worse the magazine about the elderly commiting suicide "oh god" that was a bad one especially when i had to offer it at an old peoples home.
so anyone on here what mags did you find terrible to place.

For me the worst ones were the series done years ago about "Babylon the Great". They had the drunk harlot riding the scarlet wild beast on the front cover! Householders saw that magazine and slammed the door!

Disfellowshipping.....To Protect The Cong?!
by ISP inthats often the reason given by the wts.
yet bill bowen faces excommunication whilst 23,000+ paedophiles remain in the association of jehovah's witnesses.
the wts could hardly care less what happens to little children or what evil pervades the kingdom halls as long as no one tries to disturb the ether.. isp

THE BIG DEEELIMA FACING YOU KNOW
by MegaDude inyou know, a frequent poster here, is a mentally deranged semi-jehovah's witness with serious mental problems.
he has serious issues with the watchtower, thus negating his effectiveness as a jw.
he has no responsibility in his own congregation because he is regarded as "strange.

I remember Mr. Coffee - You must have been at Patterson as a JW, right? That guy was a riot - shouting at everyone on their way to breakfast!

Blood Part 01 - The History of the Blood Doctrine
by JanH inthe history of the blood doctrine.
since a jehovah's witness (hereafter: jw) who refuses blood bases his or her decision on trust in the wisdom and divine leadership of the watch tower society (hereafter: wts), it will be instructive to look at the record of the wts in dealing with medical questions.
the current application of certain bible texts, notably acts 15:28,29, to support a blood prohibition for christians was not shared by its founder, charles taze russell.
