if iit becomes known that an oficer or bethelite has put the wts in a bad light because of some action on his part chances are that the bro would be asked to leave bethel and if he was a servant he would be asked to move over and let someone else do the job.

im sure that the fds realizes that it was foolish for the wts to join the un, what i am interested in knowing is if the wts forbid in the past un membership to jws and what is the policy today.

Beards, can someone explain?

can someone give me a sensible explaination as to why the jw's have banned beards?

i was df'd in '90 just as this was becoming a big deal and at the time i thought it was completely rediculous what with jesus probably having a beard.

it was one of the many things that led me to seeing that the gb make arbitrary rules and that the organisation has more to do with control than religion.

how's the weekend been treating you?

here on the eastern seaboard of oz we've had some really hot weather - at least the suddenness of the hot spell made it seem all the hotter!.

another thing we saw this week was the rural roads around bethel chocked once again with tourist coaches full of bethel visitors who were taking advantage of the "privilege" of visiting the australia branch after the international convention was over.

do not call / do not spam -- whats next?

over the last year a very important thing happened here in the states, the do not call list.. no more bothersome calls from sales people at dinner time trying to sell you stuff you dont want or need.. .

now there is legislation in the works to do the same for your inbox, shutting down the spammers.. i cant tell you how many emails i get to have bigger boobs.

amongst other "get bigger" odities .
