  this is the one they call the "woonsocket" kh on 146a in north smithfield.

  i think i was in their once, and i think a great part of that building is underground.

  interestingly, one of the elders there used to be in the lincoln/pawtucket cong years ago, and they were sited by the wtwbs for not waiting on jehoober when they were looking to build the lincoln hall. they built it on a swamp in a very historical area of lincoln and had nothing but trouble for it. it took over 10 years to just get the foundation built between paper work and filling in a swamp. heh heh heh. this same elder is now in that cong that is trying to sell.

  a lot!!!

  i have done my share of sleeping at conventions with the elbow in the side, same ol same ol.

  you would know which scripture was coming before they ever said it.

  toward the end of my tenure in the cult, my last 3 years or so were strickly devoted to getting to sleep asapasap and trying to either make it through the meeting/day getting as much sleep as possible, and when i got all caught up on that, i did what every red blooded american married man did....scope out the hotties!

  ( i always wore sunglasses even inside so i wouldn't get busted)

  over the years, the society has included half a page in their annual guidelines when planning for and attending the district convention.. in particular, they have been very insistent that only hotels on the recommended lodging list be used.. .

  the language in this month's km is even more insistent than last years.. .

  one other thought came to mind thinking about this mess.

  if the "society" makes a contract with the hotels, why don't they stipulate to the management, "take no reservation for any jw calling no earlier than xx-xx-2007?"

  that would keep all the elders and m.s.'s from booking boat loads of room before the letter is read to the rank & file.

  it would at least keep things "honest". as far as you could keep a completely dishonest arrraingement "honest" when dealing with the leaders of a completely dishonest cult.

  They WTS does not want you to bring food or coffee in the commerical logo

  container,EX.No Starbucks coffee in a Starbuck cup.They want you to transfer in to a brown bag.

  So no one knows whats in the bag.

  I will look at the OKM. Is that in print? The plastic and paper bags I use have to be generic now?
  What kind of a cult would care that I got my coffee at Dunkin or Starbucks or McDonalds?

  i never heard any such thing or saw any action taken about people going "out" for their refreshments or food.

  lupus hasn't been ruled out yet. i'm sure the rhuemy will be ordering more tests for that in february.

  thanks hubert, i'll take your advise anywho, just in case.

  i wouldnt mind learning more about lupus when you have time. i think only tests can determine that, and they could also show both, its called rupus believe it or not.

  i have researched what i can find on the net, from reliable sites i might add.

  my doctor has started me on an antidepressant which has the wonderfull benifit of also being a pain reducer, at half the normal dosage it would be used for its real purpose.

  so far it does seem to help. but it does not help the fatigue and general lousey feeling i have most of the time.

  yesterday for instance i felt great and only my knees hurt toward the end of the day.

  today, it was a whole nother story. i did to much and am paying the price.

  i'm finding out i am limited in what i can do. (and i am not 105 years. ) but i now have to make some serious adjustments in how i live and what i can do.

  at least until it goes into remission, if it ever does.

  i have no idea if the rheumy i am seeing is any good. my pcp has already warned me i may never get a definitive diagnosis.

  having the ra test come back like it did and the way i have felt for the last 6 months, and the other symtoms that go with this tell me all i need to know.

  hopefully i get a good doctor, and i get on some sort of management so i can get some relief.
