  (as of 10 sep 2020) there's a new caleb & sophia cartoon in which the org puts into the minds of children the idea that celebrating a birthday will cause jehovah to not want to be your friend anymore.. https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/children/become-jehovahs-friend/videos/trailer-jehovah-forgives/.

  can you imagine being 6 years old and thinking god himself is no longer your friend because you blew out a candle on a birthday cake or wished someone a happy birthday?.

  as bad as all this is, the birthday thing is just one of many jw rules that isnt even supported by scripure.

  Independents often do not make up their minds until they get all the facts. Being a Democrat or Republican doesn’t factor in to a decision. People’s minds can be changed if something is so extreme that they decide they cannot vote for this person or this position.

  Most conservatives do not try to flaunt their beliefs. They just live their lives and believe in the Constitution and typically leave people alone. However some people on both sides enjoy SHOWING their support for a cause or person and they might get beat up exercising their freedom of speech.

  I think the democrats will try to report a new bombshell every week to try to influence the election. Personally, I think people are tired of hearing new assaults against the President. Independent voters can see through what the democrats are doing.
