  I remember hearing Witnesses say they were HAPPY that 9/11 happened. It was a clear sign that the Great Tribulation was imminent plus who really cares that all these “worldly “ people died, anyway? I was disgusted by those comments and addressed them from the platform.

  Some might say that Christians who follow the Bible literally also play mental gymnastics. I’m not against Muslims, Christians, black, white, Asian etc. There are extremists everywhere

  Be aware. Protect your country. Be mindful of how terrorists can infiltrate a community. If someone wants to learn how to fly a plane but doesn’t care about how to land it, be suspicious.

  This is a start. There is plenty more that an intelligent person could learn from what happened 19 years ago.

  Anti Muslim views became the norm after 9/11. Certainly not all Muslims were responsible for the attacks. The extreme Bin Laden philosophy is what was the problem. The world is not a safer place since that horrendous day. Terrorism is the norm today. We always have to be vigilant and never forget what can happen again and WHY it happened.

  You would be surprised how quickly people do forget. I was at Twin Towers the week before the devastation. The first pilot was a customer of mine. Big strong rugged guy.

  You just never know how life can be . It can vanish just that. It makes us realize how important it is to value life.

  (as of 10 sep 2020) there's a new caleb & sophia cartoon in which the org puts into the minds of children the idea that celebrating a birthday will cause jehovah to not want to be your friend anymore.. https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/children/become-jehovahs-friend/videos/trailer-jehovah-forgives/.

  can you imagine being 6 years old and thinking god himself is no longer your friend because you blew out a candle on a birthday cake or wished someone a happy birthday?.

  as bad as all this is, the birthday thing is just one of many jw rules that isnt even supported by scripure.
