I’m not saying if you are or were an elder you are dumb. I’m simply saying there are a lot of dumb elders that I have known.

sometimes i would wonder why they remained as elders or even witnesses because they were successful men who made a good living and were highly respected because of their qualities.. that is a rather small group.

I remember at elder’s school, a former Bethelite couldn’t take it anymore and announced to the instructors and fellow elders that he was a chronic masturbator and he had to express his guilt over his “secret sin”. You could’ve heard a pin drop.
Now, that’s a dumb elder!

I knew one dumb elder from that Hall who saw me at the supermarket and said he was looking at it as a challenge to get into new territory since everyone was going to be disbanded and go to the nearest city KH. He said most of the elders weren’t too happy after being there for 40 plus years.

I asked him about asking if he could take the cabinets off their hands but he said he wasn’t interested. He’s very done with the Witnesses. He used to be here on JWD but he isn’t interested in any real involvement.
