A few Squad admirers expressed their disdain for what the 4th represents for black people in this country. They have turned Independence Day into a racial thing just as they do with everything else!

Independence Day Was A Shame
by minimus inthis year independence day , the 4th of july, went mostly unnoticed.
the weather didn’t help for many but besides that, the day was looked upon by news media and politicians as very negative.
there is nothing wonderful about america that should be celebrated!

What are your personal reasons for hating the Jehovah's Witnesses religion ?
by Rocketman123 infirst thing comes to mind is that this organization through its leaders are not witnessing the true and honest version of the gospel teachings of jesus christ .. they are subjectively teaching/preaching a tainted version made up by the top controlling men of the organization, which i'm sure is connected to the proliferation and distribution of literature which these men publish themselves.
.
when jesus said that no one knows of the time not even he, he didn't say a select few will know .. the other thing that bothers me is this organization promotes human ignorance on many levels, admonishing education or knowledge that mankind needs for its very survival... there are many other religious organizations that do this as well but the jws is just one of these organizations.

Jehovah’s Witnesses—the Most Boring People On Earth!
by minimus inwhen i see watchtower videos or interviews i can’t help but notice how bland and boring jws really are!
they are so vanilla.
no excitement, just robotic conversation.. what the hell happened to these people?

Simply put they are an uninteresting group. But they do have the Watchtower and Awake magazines so that any Witness could know all there is to know about everything that is truly important.

The right to not be exposed to ideas I don’t like or agree with?
by EdenOne inok, i would like to submit to the forum the following question: in abstract, do you think that there is a right to not being exposed to ideas that you don’t like or disagree with?
please think it through and its implications on both ends of the spectrum.. it’s not the right to conscientious objection to do something you vehemently disagree with; it’s not about the liberty to chose which ideas you want to embrace or advocate.
it’s something different.. given that, as exjws, we understand the importance of being exposed to different opinions in order to form our own opinion, should someone claim the right not to be exposed to opinions or ideas that they don’t like?

I really have no issue with schools giving a balanced point of view on sex or political topics as long as it’s not the only option open. Like the news media, I don’t mind you reporting the news as long as you do not try to promote a particular point of view. BIASED anything is unfair and should not be allowed

I don’t hate the religion either. Many aspects of the religion I don’t like though.

Do You Think Trump Will Make A Comeback?
by minimus indo you think he could get reinstated as president?
do you think trump will run again for president or do you think he will just be a force for the republican party behind the scenes?.

minimus
In fact, Trump did shake the foundation of old boy politics right from the get go. He made American interests first again and got out of deals that were detrimental to us. For the majority of his presidency the economy was in its best shape in years. Yes for all the years the Democratic machine has been in power, he showed himself to be a better President that Obama was in four years.
Regarding having an extended ego, I don’t think you can aspire to be the President of the United States without a huge ego. You have to believe in yourself, that you are special and the country NEEDS you.

If you could pick out critical errors to the JWS religion what would it be ?
by Rocketman123 inmany that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.
somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

Bottom line: the Watchtower supposedly is God’s spokesman. Listen and obey or it’s like you are not accepting Jehovah’s feelings. Yet the Watchtower has constantly and consistently been WRONG about most of what they say. Their prophetic understanding has been changed so many times it isn’t funny. Either you speak for God or you don’t. God doesn’t flip flop like Watchtower does.
