Most unhypocritical religion which one?
by haujobbz inthink about it when you chose to become a jw why did you choose that belief.. was it because you witnessed there good works or there following the scriptures closely or even there so called similarity to 1st century christians.. when i think about it, i didnt really witness these things it was the books i studied which told me this because if i had really looked closely at the activities and jw roots i would of realised they werent the pure religion they claimed to be.now i think about it why didnt i take my study more serious not just reading what the jws gave me but looking to outside sources for more information, im really gutted i didnt do this now.
i mean did i look at other beliefs to see how they functioned nope i just believed the books i studied and that was it and i thought i wasnt gullible.. so now in the situation most of us are in today if you were to look at most religious christian beliefs today which would you say follows the bible closely and imitates the 1st century christians the closest,sticks to gods and christ teachings closely.
also have any of you thought about joining another faith and which one?

by Simon inas you may or may not be aware the poster 'mikepence' has asked people to donate to enable him (and his family?
) to travel to the silentlambs march and to file charges against their alleged abuser.
because he seemed to suddenly become very opposed to the idea of attending the march, i and some others asked him what i thought were simple and reasonable questions.

Fear of the New World
by WildTurkey ini always had a fear as an active jw, that i would not like life in the new world that i would not like to be perfect.
to never make a mistake, that would mean you would never get to kiss and make up.
i would never get to watch a real football game, and porn would be completely out of the question.

The sexaul abuse Ryan and I went through was horrible. The man who sexauly abused me and my brother Ryan were pretty close to us. He was all most the head of the congergation, it is heart breaking to know that he might still be sexauly abusing more babies, kids, teenagers -- evry age you could could think about.
We are trying to get money togeather so we can fly up to press charges against him and to take a train to New York City to go to the march for me and other kids who went what I went through. Please... donate a little of money so my family can do this for me, my brother Ryan and many other children.

by mikepence inmy family will not be attending the march.
i respect bill and what he has accomplished, but i believe that attempts to control the march and the marchers, are misplaced -- even damaging for victims of abuse -- who have been controlled enough!.
the last thing victims of abuse need is to be told to keep up appearances.
