yes my good friends it is september, elders all around the world are having their loving elders meetings, where they discuss coming to see you all to encourage you back to the fold.... hurrah!
returning to jehovah.
7 but may the elders themselves take any initiative in approaching a disfellowshipped person?
Oh yeah,
I remember this. I've had a visit every year. The first time, I was actually TRYING to get back in, and couldn't do it, but their visit seemed very encouraging.
The second time, I was polite, and listened, but the guy was trying to scare me with 9/11 and Armageddon. Sheesh. I don't do anything out of fear anymore. Guilt, sure, but not fear.

here it is, it took me two days to write and therefore nobody should actually be able to read it.. the purpose of writing a story like mine down serves two purposes.
first, i must find a coherent understanding and explanation of the events that have befallen me.
second, i hope that my story helps others in some way, to let them know that there is indeed "light at the end of the tunnel.
Thanks FBF.
The U.S. Army survival manual starts with the admonition to maintain the "will to survive." And as that book covers everything from desert combat to fending off sharks, I think they might have a clue as to what they are talking about.
My trick is I found something I care about deeply, and made it almost a temple in my mind, and then continually worked towards it. And never shared it with anybody, as to what it is.

i thought id give you an update re whats going on.
my qing the wts of recent has been very hard on my wife.
if i could, i would change my timing of doing so, but its just the way it has happened.
Unebelivable story!
I'm proud of you! Stand up to those wannabe "judges" and false "shepherds."
Take care of your wife. She is your best friend - and you are hers. You are doing well. The hardest is yet to come. Be strong, man.

i was talking with an old friend of mine who had gone to the assembly just a couple of weeks ago.. he told me the story of a young boy, who went with his mother door to door all his life, from a very young age.
apparantly, the boy was upset when his mother when to pioneer school without him back when he was 4 years old or so.
but, of course, he was too young to attend the school, so his mother went without him.. the boy is now 11, a regular pioneer, baptized, and very disappointed for he will not be allowed to go to pioneer school until he reaches the minimum age, 16.. what a fine example everyone!!.
I was baptized when I was 12. I'm free now. There's always hope. Puberty does a lot.

Thank you all for your kind and thoughtful words.
I'm impressed with the power of everyone here to heal and move on. Everyone has the power to help themselves - and I firmly believe that God will show us the way.

all of the cults claim some kind of divine mandate.
at the least to be in contact with a higher power or to have a guaranteed method to create success and plenty.
it is the key by which they enslave the minds of their followers.

To have The Button for one second. And I'd push it.

i'm only posting this so as to get a buzz from looking forward to our trip to joy & steve's place in october.. i last went to the usa when i was 12 years old and i'm keen to know what differences to expect.
i know that their service industry is vastly superior to ours, someone told me that restaurant staff are actually helpful over there!.
umm, driving on the opposite side is going to be strange.
The limeys think 200 miles is a long way, the yankees think 200 years is a long time.
Be prepared to drive at high speeds for a couple of hours to get to where you want to go.
If someone pulls up next to you at a red light, pumping a heavy bass beat that rattles the rust off the sides of his car, and he is black and you are white, don't make eye contact.
If you make a driving mistake, don't admit you are wrong. It's your God-given right as an American (temporarily) to be wrong if you damn well please, and I LIKE driving on the left side of the road, and who the hell are you to tell me different, your family probably fought for the South you white trash... fill in the blanks as you see fit.
